The port for the combiner hand/foot is super thin on the heli compared to every other mold. They stress super easily and can crack. Check yours, they're probably full of stress marks, all of mine are.

The combiner port isn't aligned well, so if you don't use 2 choppers for legs, it's almost impossible for the toy to stay on it's feet or pull of any poses (well, it's much harder).

Actually it's meant to be that way. She is not meant to be transformed leg wise like her guy counterparts. That tab literally locks in place when you transform her and makes her thighs sit a bit to the center of the leg unlike Hot Spot and Onslaught that are a bit more pushed forwards. That tab is meant for that whole fixture to sit at a slight angle, you are not meant to push it in at all.

I see the reception towards megatronia is surprisingly good, and what's not to like?

Well, lets go through her, and I shall address points that have been popular as of late.

I expect one of you must be thinking this, firstly, no you'd be incorrect, for the gestalt as a whole there are more colors, but each bot only matches Victorion with 2 primary colors, with black and neon colors being the uniform aspect, to match Victorion but in an evil way (since most villains usually clash even as a team, with these colors it certainly works in that regard).

every figure here is a KO...MPP10-W heaven commander, and MPF-12 Tanaka Lambor.

Op is holding the light up weapon for lambor, and the other 2 figures are both early run editions of lambor mold KO's at original size. They're both OK, but have issues with the front wheels and fenders rubbing.

Really love the big lambo but his backpack needs a little tightening up in robot mode. The front hood and spoiler are diecast and it has articulated hands and light up weapons along with light up headlights. Just need a big autobot decal for his chest.

I honestly find them *almost* the same in terms of layout, if anything while megaempress homages a female megatron well she kinda lost robot mode detailing (the shoulder detail is smothered) but gains hub cab paint, while the others just crop out bits and pieces which works.

I honestly think Victorion's problem is the unity and how dull it is, seeing how its water melon colored, megatronia adds some neon and actually DEMANDS you acknowledge the fact she's a combiner.

As for price its a shame, for either option, you're technically getting less with megatronia and paying more

So in regards to the TRU exclusive rid starscream, would it be reasonable to assume takara would do something with it?

I am aware the tru exclusives are also in japan and more or less the same (sideswipe had his sticker placement changed for whatever reason), but for a regular retail version, would they do something?

MPP10 issues. They are truly excellent.Here are the nitpicks:
• Due to the increased size and diecast in the chest, the figure is much heavier. While they hold poses fine, if you are placing MPP10 on a smooth surface in a very dynamic pose, the ankles *might* not have enough friction to hold him up forever. The tightness of the ankles varies on every figure. For me the black version was the weakest. I have not tried tightening it up, but a little Future floor polish would probably work. The ankle is held together by screws, so you could definitely play with it.
• Sometimes the mirror on one side of the chest will be a little loose/wobbly, but will hold position just fine. This is the case on both my black & white copies, but my red copy was perfect.
• on my white copy, a few spots of his silver paint had been "fixed" at the factory with either a silver touch-up pen, or a brush, and I can see the strokes, which is kind of a bummer, but it's not bad (better than paint scratches or missing paint). I can probably buff it and spray a little replacement silver on there myself if I want perfection.

Grab a red one, you won't be disappointed and the classic colour scheme seems to have the very best QC, although the white and black ones are really good too.

On my KO lambors, the backpack stays in place mostly because the pin holding the roof folding section is tight. It's looser on the upscaled lambor. UW Superion and Menasor are worth it for the better colors/Menasor hip ratchet fixes.

UW Defensor only if he's cheaper than CW, since now you can get Groove without having to deal with UW Defensor's shit paint job that has less detail than the CW.

Source of information, same as any other reviewer. He does have some of the better transformation vids out there though, but I fucking HATE it when ANY reviewer starts in the non-fresh-out-of-the-box mode, which he does, same as many other reviewers.

The manual sucks for a lot of shit nowadays that's why we watch reviewers that do instructional shit but I don't get why they don't do it from how it was out of the box. They won't die if they start with the robot mode since a lot of toys are packaged in their robot mode and then just review the vehicle mode afterwards.
