A hundred short of half a grand for a custom of one figure with none to a few hands for accessories? Where are the chumps that pay this much for such low quality?

I used to pay someone to paint Gundam model kits for me. Can't remember how much I paid, maybe like $50 plus material costs and shipping.
Worked out fine until the final haul I sent him. He had it for a long time and told me he had a girlfriend and was in the middle of moving but he planned to get back into it in a while. Never heard from him again.
Alex, if you're there, just give me my Gundams. I don't hate you for having a life. ;_;

I think he scammed you

Seems like it but I just can't see how, we'd already had several transactions and he had previously had way better stuff he could've kept. He even sent me pictures of the stuff he'd done so far, then it got quiet for a while and I got an email back after a long wait and then he just dropped off the face of the earth.

0.
If I want something fragile that looks handpainted, I do it myself.
If I want something solid that looks good, I wait for a company to do it.

I've seen a few stories of angry girlfriends smashing model kits. Yours might have gotten pic related treatment.

Nothing, because I do not like customs.
>Who wouldn't pay 500 dollars for a 6 inch peace of plastic?
But seriously, I think this guy has been trying to sell this thing for like two years
