Are these things worth the time investment?

is anything?
if you just want a party trick you'd be just as well off learning card tricks or yoyo tricks. I don't think there are kendama competitions like there are for yoyo tricks though. Not sure what the question means desu

I have about two just to pass the time. Spent about $20 on both. The $100+ Mugen Glokens aren't worth it. Go cheap on Kendamas.
Was a fad in Singapore a few months back for a while. Mildly funny seeing the kids fiddling with it while walking or riding the trains.

>Kendama pros
What the hell?
japan is trying to push Kendama hardcore
https://youtu.be/cQJ_XFRkoZI
but its like when the 90s tried pushing yo-yos. "yo yo ball"
but i think old toys like these are timeless and dont need to be pushed. cause kids will always probably have at least played with it once.
I'd say yes, it's worth it

Why is he so pro?
People seems more interested in these after the anime about candy aired in Japan . One of the eps had this girl pulling all the moves with it .
>>5862187
not really, its in a lot of anime.
just cause you saw it in that anime doesnt mean suddenly "everyone is interested in it"
>>5862197
not really ? It didn't increase interest ? Ok .
