how to find tiny plastic parts lost in carpeting?
Get a flashlight or other light source and wave it back and forth close to the ground while you look. The shadow will move, which will give you a bigger thing to look for-- the eye's way better at picking out motion anyway.
Good luck.

Have you tried a shop vac with an attachment

Easiest way would honestly probably be vacuuming with a vacuum with a easily removable chamber so that you can root around and look for pieces post vacuum.

Get a vacuum with a nozzle attachment, put a thin sock, pair of tights etc over the nozzle. It will pick it up without sucking it in.

Upturn the carpet.
Get dust everywhere.
Part will stay stuck to carpet.
Smack carpet.
Part and more dust falls out after 20 minutes.
Dust and debris gets stuck on your sweaty body.
Throw carpet away and cry in shower.
actually found it, thanks for all support

How'd you find it? did you rub peanut butter on your balls and repeatedly dabbed them on the carpet?
I once lost a nendo's hand in the gills of a radiator, in the hell looking somewhat like this. I saved it.
