Those are The Lion King 2 toys.
These are the first release fast food toys from 1994.

damn I still have that scar
My dad got me pic related for my birthday as a kid, some of the best toys I had as a kid. The sculpts are awesome, not much articulation, but the most of them had 'action' buttons that made their mouths and front paws move.
I own pic related

Oh man, I had some of those as a kid, shit was cash. I always liked the Scar one best.
I remember having a plush of one of the hyenas back in preschool. That must have been back in 1994.
I used to have these guys. With kissing action!

Disney shit used to get some great toys.
I remember the Hunchback retail line...and I remember getting the Disney store Aladdin toys for Christmas one year.

Oh yeah, make them kiss...naughty kitties...
Lion King plushes from the 90s were my first big collection. Pic is not mine but I own almost everything seen here. I still have them, but they're in storage now.

These were excellent for kids meal toys. Decent sculpts, 4 points of articulation. They were literally better than the real figures.
Young simba got stuck with a crappy gimmick that Nala should've had instead but oh well. Timon and Pumba and the hygena had gimmicks that fit them.

So that's what they looked like in package. I got them for either birthday, Easter or Christmas when I was a kid, but since they were from the US (I'm in NZ) they had been removed from their packaging to save space in the box. Still have them both, though one is in the plush chest in the garage. I really should bring Simba back in to be with Nala again.

I have a couple of the smaller giftsets, but not that particular one. This one and the one with Timon,
Pumba, Adult Simba and Rafiki. Apparently Shenzi was only available in the giftsets.
First? no. Best? Maybe.

I had a bunch of these as a kid, probably my first toys with articulation.
If this had come out when I was little, I would've been all over it as well.
