Max Factory typically releases almost everything they show or announce. They aren't even CLOSE to Bandai in terms of showing prototypes that will never see the light of day. Hell, with Bandai I could name 20-30+ off the top of my head and in total there is probably a good 60-80+ things they've never released or never will.

Meanwhile with Max Factory I can only think of a few off the top of my head and last time I checked there was only maybe a dozen or so figures in prototype hell. The rest have either been released, announced, painted up recently or are in pre-production stages. You might have to wait several years but chances are what you want to buy will get a release.

Happened on mine too until I tried to push the ball joint cup harder, it popped into place and the leg is secure now. Just check that the inverted Y piece with the balljoints is centered, the soft plastic crotch piece covers it and if it isn't placed correctly when you try to attach the leg it doesn't pop completely into place.

As for your other problems, just force the pieces without being a hamhands, just use your common sense and grab the pieces you want to remove/attach in a way that doesn't risk any breakage and push/pull twisting them a little bit from side to side. It always works for me.

Nope. If they wanted to make more, they would've announced new ones at the past summer WonFes. It's pretty clear that they aren't interested in continuing making any more Berserk figures after they release all of the Godhand figmas. The Berserk movies were all the source of the hype, but even with this new anime and the new game I'm pretty sure that they've moved on from the franchise.

Guys i have a few questions about pre-orders from GSC and paypal. Hopefully someone can help me out here.

First off, I pre-ordered ALBW Link, when will GSC charge me? I read they usually do a few weeks before, will i get a notification like amiami or will they just take the funds?

My other issue is a bit more complicated. I pre-ordered another item that won't release until November. I used paypal as my payment method, but i can't find the order in there at all. It's not pending and there's no record of it. Any ideas? Already emailed paypal but they're fucking useless

I have caught myself doing this a few times and had to stop, put the toy down and walk away. I was putting way more force on it than I should have and was LUCKY it didn't break. There is just something in human nature that makes people want to push just a little further until something either cooperates or breaks. You have to have a lot of willpower to treat imports as gingerly as they should be.

The problem is people just can't admit when they fuck up and take responsibility. I've broken a few toys and immediately hated myself. I took responsibility and sold the broken toy for a loss because I couldn't stand looking at my mistake. If I get frustrated now I just drop everything in my hands and walk away to come back with a cooler mind.

Licensing issues. It's still on the Japanese version of AmiAmi. Hasbro/Disney decided to go after them. Expect this to start happening with every figma, SHF, etc.

Mandarake will literally give you $3-4 a piece for them. Like the other anon said, they're old junk and you'd be a nut to transport them to the source country. There's a ton of these unsold at 2nd hand stores in Japan already.

You'd be better off putting them up cheap on ebay. Some otaku in bumfuck countries may be willing to give you a better deal.

It's got more to do with licensed distribution. Disney signs a contract with companies like Hasbro for master licenses, ie, only Hasbro is allowed to make and sell Marvel figures in the usa. Allowing imports like this could be a sue-able breach depending on the terms they signed.

My analysis of the situation is that there is a 99.9% chance this figure will sell out rather quickly -if not instantly- and end up skyrocketing in price. HLJ closed pre-orders pretty fast which denotes it's selling well. AmiAmi also raised the priced from 7,580 yen to 8,030 yen FOUR months from the release date. The figure never sold out in the 1 month period of time it was up and so this is an unprecedented event and the first figma i've ever seen it happen with. For reference...Saber 2.0 and Snake both sold out about 45-60 days before release, when they went back up the discount was removed entirely but they never went up in price prior to that.

So the closer you wait till release to order the more likely it is you'll be paying more as stores remove the discounts on release or before release. If you end up not liking the figure then you can easily sell it, you'll have no problems at all getting your money back. If the figure has QC problems Good Smile Company has EXCELLENT global customer support and will ship you the required replacement parts so long as you buy from an official partner shop or any major shop in Japan.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to give you all the relevant info so you could make a good decision.

I definitely can't argue about the posing... Still nice of them to post a pic. I just want Anti Mage because of the design, I unfortunately never got into DotA, not even in the WC3 days, so I have no real attachment. For $60 USD plus shipping it'll cost me around $100 CAD for it, so not cheap change for something that may not have turned out so good. Can anyone reasonably expect Nero to be released as 2.0 version concurrent with the upcoming Fate Extra anime?

I'm kind of on the edge afraid that Nero 1.0 gonna shoot up in price once Caster is released just like Ryuko and Satsuki since she's already a SP release but on the other hand don't wan't to get cucked if they're gonna release 2.0 version.

Received my Anti-Mage figma from an eBay seller today and took some pics. He's really great!

Pros:
-Articulation: Can be posed in pretty much any way you want, the sculpt doesn't hinder the shoulder/arm and leg/knee articulation much; belt part is a separate piece so the figure poses can look more natural; cape articualtion adds a lot of energy in the poses
-Sculpt: Really nice; details in the muscle definition and figure looks pretty accurate to the character
-Paint apps: Looks very crisp clean on the figure, especially the on the head as well as the designs on the forearms and torso pieces

Cons:
-size: Pic related, shorter than I expected. Kind of wish they could've made the figure taller especially among other muscular male figmas.
-accessories: Wish they could've included other faces, like a shouting or yelling face and a smiling face.
-gap in the lower back, so pretty jarring in croushing poses
-flesh joint color is a little lighter than the actual flesh color, which looks a little weird
-QC on the vest isn't perfect at one or two spots

Overall though, I'm really pleased. The positives outweigh the negatives by a lot. He looks great, has one of the best articulation figmas have had for a while, and he stands out from other figmas thanks to the design. I might even pre-order another one.
