Looks fine if you connect the head properly and pose the eyes. Face paint isn't even the biggest problem with him, it's the loose torso/waist joints and shoulder configuration

If you're going to get just one then I'd go with this snek to be honest. His face looks the best, he has the funnest accessories, and he just poses great.

That being said I don't have the other two to compare. I will be getting the Figma soon, though.

I have all three of them, for what it's worth. The Vulcanlog Venom Snake is by far the best of them, but if it's between Solid and BB, I'd go with Solid.

Vulcanlog Snake is great and all, but I'm dismayed to see all the disrespect for this little guy. Yeah, the facesculpt ain't perfect, but neither is the Vulcanlog's, and it's still a super fun and really excellent figure.

I don't even think this is a very good figure to be honest with you. The face somehow failed to nail Snake's look for me...something just looks off. More like a cosplayer playing BB than the man himself. The Boss has the same problem. Possibly because they based it off the 3DS character models, which changed their looks somewhat.

Anyway, I'm sick of the Sneaking Suit. I will forever be disappointed that Hot Toys didn't do the fatigues. And yes, I know, InFlames did it, but that one just sorta looks shit all around. Its only redeeming quality is that it came with the croc cap.

I agree, but I still think it works okay as a stylized Snake. It actually improves the likeness a TON if you simply take a bit of (slightly) lighter brown paint and give his hair and beard a touchup. The overly dark hair is a big part of what makes him look...well, not like himself IMO.

And yeah, it's still a great figure. I actually play with and pose it more often than my Vulcanlog.

But it has the best stealth gameplay of all the MGS games.

And really, if I want a good story, I'll go watch a fucking movie. If I'm playing a game, it needs to be good and have immersive gameplay.

The way figma Snake looks is not the issue, his joints are.

That waist joint, practically a bobble head. And you can't really take it apart to fix it due to the way they put that figma together. Not sure if is the same for all of them or just some of them but this figma obviously missed a few inspections leading up to it's release because they knew people will buy this shit no matter what.

Is that the Medicom RAH? If so, it's a decent figure, and I actually think it has the best Big Boss likeness of all, but when you get it into the light you can see that the sculpt is extremely simple and almost cartoony. It's not a bad thing per se, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

you have to let either the floor or nail polish to drip inside or try to use a thin brush to coat it, but yeah, it is hard to reinforce it, the fact that you can't reach all the ball peg makes it really hard to last.
the one joint that really fucked me over though was the one on his right thigh, it was so loose that the figure usually fall over because of it, but i finally caved in and decided to take it off so i can reinforce it, gladly it worked perfectly and i learned how the leg was constructed.

the Jungle Fatigue PAK is what I went with too, but I keep him in the box because it looks nice with my MGS collection, so i can't speak for posability. Looks great though.
