Strarf is okay. If you can, Bis would have been a much better pick. The original doesn't have any alternate faces and Bis comes with more parts too, including her hammer.

Among the Mk Is Bis and Tranche are your definitive Strarf and Arnval same way how the Full Arms Packages are of the Mk IIs.

That said, original Strarf isn't bad though, it's just that you could have done better.

No site that I know of online, unfortunately. Also there's no way of knowing which one you're getting til you open the individual box so don't expect you can pick and choose if you do manage to find a site selling them.

Best bet I can recommend short of splitting a box with someone is emailing hlj about cracking open a few boxes to sell individually at random. They put up a bunch of ichiban kuji shinki goods after I asked them about it, so they're willing to listen to feedback and requests.

Im down to my last shinki, but I just cant bear to part with my bragg dusk, she was my grail shinki. One day when I was packing her up, thinking I might put her up for sale, I noticed her right gunholding hand was missing, clearly ruining its resale value. I felt really bad about being so careless and now having an incomplete shinki.

After I resolved to keep her, her hand mysteriously appeared out of nowhere, a piece I hadnt seen in months! I was filled with joy. This felt like a sign, now I ill never think of parting with my dusk ever again.

For anyone interested who doesn't have them already, Desktop Army faces ARE removable. They're not glued or molded to the hair pieces, so I'm recasting a couple right now to give them more expressions.

Now, I've got a few good eye decals from HiQ, (looks like 1-b is a pretty good match) but anyone know of any sellers on taobao for a more exact match? I know some circle sold sylphy faces at wonfes, so I was hoping they sold eyes separately.

You could make your own spray booth indoors. Google should give you some pretty good examples.

Otherwise, handbrushing is more time consuming and takes more practice, but can still work.

Get Materia instead. (That sold out one from Nakano is the one I bought.) She comes with the needed bits and she's a bit cheaper

If you're okay with non-articulated limbs, get the Materia append set with the tanned skin. That way you have enough bits to make the kit and an entire Materia on top of it. Hell, if you want to go crazy, get that kit, Materia append and Jinrai append. Three entire shinkis with no leftovers!

Been hand painting my FA:Gs for a while with tamiya acrylics.

Currently stripping the tamiya acrylics and repaint them using vallejo. These really work better for hand brushing.
Pic related is all vallejo now, and might do the same with Gourai and Stylet when I get the time to clean them.

Gonna keep the current tamiya bottles for when I get to invest in an airbrush setup.

Nah, that gun's a garage kit from circle unco. Comes with a piece that makes it compatible to shinkis. Got a transparent orange chainsaw from them a while back. Would link them, but I don't have the link on me right now. They have a webstore you can order from, but I don't know if they do international shipping.

The head is a garage kit option parts set by Masaki Apsy but I don't know exactly which one. Clothes are from Apsy's too. Both are from his line of clothes and MMS goodies named Plastica.

Screws will rust if exposed to moisture but worry not, removing rust in such tiny screws is easy and cheap; take an empty bottle and put a little vinegar in it, dip the screws in it for about 4 or 5 hours shaking them gently every once o twice during that period, then wash and dry them throughly so rust doesnt set again.

If you're up to build it, there are also a couple of transforming bike Frame Arms:The Wilbarr Nine and Second Jive (wtf is up with the names)

The Jive is a really slick silver number with beam pistols that transform to beam swords. I'm planning to pick one up soon and see if I can make it into an exoframe for a Frame arms girl.

Super glue the ball of the joint a couple millimeters higher on the peg. If that isn't strong enough, try epoxy or wrapping a thick enough metal wire around the base of the peg to keep the polycap ball firmly stuck in place.
