Pretty much how I got into Toku was just because of the designs. First KR figure I had gotten was Another Agito, mostly because I wanted to try a KR figure, it looked cool, and was pretty cheap. I also got two of My favorite SHFs purely because of how they looked- Shodow Moon and Fuwa Juzo. Fortunately, I ended up liking both of their shows when I got around to watching them. I also picked up the Zodiarts before I had watched Fourze, which ended up being the first KR series I watched.

Yes, so I am I. I watched the first KR series mostly to justify buying that figure because I've always heard that KR figures are the best among SHF.

I kind of enjoyed watching it, mostly in the "this is so incredibly old and cheesy" way, but at some moments it was generally cool. Seeing a kickass backflip or some kind of cool karate move in a fight would make me purely smile, though those moments weren't often. I've tried watching the first 10 episodes of like 5 more Showa and 5 Hesei Rider series each, but I could never find even the briefest of moments of enjoyment from them like I could the original.

I think the fourze figuarts was trending at the time and I really liked the deisgn. I never ended up watching the show til like 2 years later, but by then I had watched Kabuto, Agito and a bunch of sentai and ultraman shit. Who knows, since all they've shown so far is Baltan I and Zetton. Hopefully we can see more at Tamashii Nations, whenever it is.

The fact that Baltan still scales with Ultra-acts brings me hope that we can expect Showa kaiju reissues (as there's no reason to remake the figures) some time in the future, assuming Baltan and Zetton sold well enough for Bandai. Gomora, Eleking, and Ultraman Dyna are the only Ultra-acts I need at this point.

Pretty much this. The web exclusive Sun Vulcan pack didn't sell impressively well at all. I'd imagine that it was meant to be one last attempt to see if there's enough interest to warrant more releases as exclusives, but it just didn't make whatever kind of goalpost they wanted it to.

Sahra, being automated, tends to have the worst quotes since they see to go by general ranges.
