Cybertron didn't have two genders for millions of years, so the standard for romantic relationships was male male. But since they only had one gender forever, it's like like in their world it's considered gay, since it's the norm.

I initially thought of them as really good, close friends but the comic went full blown relationship with them and even came up with terms for Cybertronian equivalents for best friends and basically marriage. I really like him but his proportions aren't all that great and his tank-mode is somewhat of an afterthought (the limp-dick cannon). His shoulder articulaiton is quite limited and he can't stand all that great (sometimes) but I still really dig him, though my enjoyment comes from teaming him up with Blaster and stripes.
