You can scale and edit all you want to but trying to get all of that into a space that's allowed will make it look like crap. You'll lose details, it'll be crowded, and won't be right at all. You need to utilize the space available to you to it's maximum.
Remember you're trying to represent /toy/ not your photo taking ability.

Also. if you don't know dick about image editing, or editing software, get somebody who does to do the actual work.

You can't and still have something that would be decent.
Remember, the idea is for something to catch the eye of non /toy/ people, and make them curious enough to come here.
It's not something we need to cram a bunch of inside jokes into. This isn't for "US". We need to do something that represents /toy/ as a whole, and yet is simple, interesting and will grab somebody's attention. If you cram too much into an image, it's going to be overwhelming, and crowded. Think simplistically.

Heads up.
