Lot of people worried about the shoulders, I can tell you it's the same shoulder design that's been used on a lot of recent Revoltechs like the Star Wars and Metal Gear figures, and they can sit flat and look completely normal, the people posing shit for displays are just always bad lol.

They just put them on the big double joint setup because it gives you a crazy amount of range. That range includes a bunch of bizarre positions that look like shit but it also includes every pose you'd ever want to actually do but can't with other figures' shoulder joints. They're actually really good shoulder joints, you just have to like collapse the arms back whenever you go back to a more normal position. And as long as the joints are pegged all the way in it's always possible to get the shoulder to sit normally with only a small gap that doesn't really stand out. It's definitely a better shoulder design for characters with shoulder pads that can cover it, but it's still fine for characters like Spider-man, if you look at the Deadpool promo pics he also has the same joint setup with no shoulder pads and it looks fine in a normal pose. You can still see the joint and see where the shoulder is kind of floating but it doesn't look weird and fucked up like the way they have Spider-man's arms posed in the case, it just looks like an action figure.

The two pieces aren't flush. This kinda setup worked for all the MGS figures cause they could hide it in the mullet, but not here where it's supposed to be smooth and round.

Also the Teostra Hunter is bringing the Chargeblade into the mix so it isn't far off to see the other blademaster weapons being represented. I understand from a marketing point why they rather go for the blademasters then the gunners.
A) the blade design of a specific monster's armor is usually what comes to mind first
B) much easier to make the figure look cool with a wide variety of action poses with melee weapons as opposed to aiming a ranged weapon.
C) I wouldn't be shocked if they have data that shows blademaster is far more popular to play as and more likely to be bought.

That said, I can't believe they missed such a perfect, PERFECT oppurtunity with Kirin girl. Give her both gunner and blademaster weaponry, since her armor is identical in both configurations. This way they can sell to people who prefer either one.

But then again if she sells a lot they might decide to do the alternate color Kirin armor with a ranged waepon to capitalize on reusing a mold for more money.

What characters do you think Amazing Yamaguchi will cover? Let's assume comic book stuff will only be from Marvel. Not sure how long the line will go, but even the unpopular Revol-Mini got like a dozen releases, so we could potentially see quite a few.

I think X-Men is a good property to focus on, because other Japanese companies are kind of ignoring it because it's not MCU.

I'm focusing on characters that are popular, or will look good with high poseability of Yamaguchi sculpt being able to wield weapons properly and strike the right poses.

Cable and Bishop will look cool with all the guns, and Cable can partner with Deadpool.

Cyclops can have a few optical blast parts, and Wolverine and Beast can benefit being super poseable.

As for MCU title characters, again target popular but not quite touched upon characters by other Japanese companies. Also do it before others do, like Deadpool.

Thanos will be a big character and we want some villains in the line, so I think it could work.

Star-Lord is everything Yamaguchi likes. Red, wears long jacket, and has 2 guns. Rocket that can hold giant guns properly would be nice to have. Just give them bunch of weapons and rocket flare parts.

Kaiyodo always do Iron Man so why not here? Plus I really like the new one. Sentinel version looks like they ruined the design, so I hope Kaiyodo does this armor.

Falcon CA could be an interesting Revoltech, posing with the wings and shield. Wings could be posed separately, or attached to arms, shield in hands or on back, no wings, all that. Do it before Bandai does a CW Falcon eventually.

Now I don't think they would do anything Netflix, but Iron Fist that can do all the martial arts poses would be nice.

These are my unlikely, but cool if it happens list. Well, more so than previously mentioned.

I think Apocalypse goes well as a Revoltech, using the joints to recreate various arm weapon transformations. Go crazy with ABs too. And again, need villains. Taskmaster because of all those different weapons, and I like him because he looks like Skeletor.

Do gladiator Hulk because he will be amazing in the next Thor movie. Same with Surtur (not sure how he looks in comics now), he would be a cool Revoltech, can go with many things just as a generic fire demon too.

And Colossus because of Deadpool movie. Yamaguchi seems to like the idea.

Lastly, female characters. No idea if Yamaguchi will make female figures, he only made like 2 in the entire Revoltech line. I would like to see at least one though.

Captain Marvel has a movie coming, she has a pretty traditional main character design so I think people will buy regardless of knowing who she is.

Female Thor, I just put her in because I had the "new" IM and CA. Could do interesting things with the cape. Spider-Gwen because she needs that high range of poseability. Angela and Gamora because they wield multiple weapons. I do rather have a more classic looking Gamora because...damn. Domino for the guns and mercenary look, plus she also goes with Deadpool.

Anyways those are my ideas for possible future Revoltechs. I think I have one or two winners in there. Characters with no masks are probably less likely to happen compare to full or half mask characters.

Genderbend designs, Japan does like that sort of stuff usually, looking at Koto statues. Captain Marvel has movie coming so no different than most MCU heroes.

It would be interesting to see if the line up will be MvC focused or MCU/others focused. Either way Kaiyodo will go for characters other companies will not do (yet).

No idea, but Kaiyodo have been doing more Marvel than DC. Bandai and Medicom are doing bunch of DC figures so why compete I guess.

Also Union Creative does a lot of DC figures with their own Toys Rocka line so Kenelephant released Kaiyodo figures seems more likely to be Marvel like the Iron Mans and Ultron.

Sasuga nipnogs. Here's hoping the Kaiser uses something rubbery/flexible like the webbing in the Rathalos figure wings so that massive cape doesn't render the figure into a statue. Same with the Kirin armor, actually; I already have a Motion Revive series Kirin figure and she's fairly poseable but the hard plastic of the skirt makes it almost impossible to do anything with the legs without also riding the whole thing up to her tits.

The poll system in general was dumb. You can vote something up to 15 times per a specific Revoltech, so like 30 people or so could've put her at the top. The number of votes are way way low overall not many people participated and there were too many selection that broke up the votes.

It's a well made revo, good sculpt and gimmick. Mainly suffers from bad 6mm joints like some QB revos.
