I cope poorly because i'm usually the primary reason why I fucked myself over in the first place. I might skip a release or decide to wait it out then the pre-order is sold out, then it's slightly more expensive but I still don't buy it then it gets ridiculously expensive. I had ample opportunities to buy it but I didn't.

So usually the figure is dead to me at that point but every time I see it I hate myself for being so dumb. So I typically buy doubles or triples of anything I MIGHT want then just sell them off at bro prices (comparatively speaking to rape aftermarket prices) to get back what I paid into them. That way I make sure I get what I want. Not really an option without a lot of money though and even I still miss a few things here and there.

berserker guts may even get a 2.0 but it's not as needed as black swordsman ver. however gravity kitten [sp-064] is getting a standard release version (which is currently usd150+ on ebay)

The rumor started with the new Berzerk anime , in this arch he will get the armor . So there's a good chance of a 2.0 release or whatever you call it , another Gutz release.
Those fate stay night fighters got new releases after their new anime so I don't see why they won't do Berzerk figures

You should be alright. I think with Gravity Rush they didn't expect it to be popular enough for it to be a part of a line. Guts' line was already established so they would've planned the release more deliberately. These are just my onions though.

The toys I want aren't that badly priced, it's just dealing with idiot sellers who don't respond to messages.
Recently dealt with a seller that put their toys up for sale then changed their mind, and more recently a bitch who's been ignoring my messages for 3 days now most likely cuz they're trying to sell two figmas together even though her listing doesn't say jack shit about preferring to sell them together.

I missed out on the hot toys naked snake and I'm now considering building my own. Looking into those 1/6th scale hot toys big boss heads and then getting a body and buying everything separately little by little
