The thing about China is that they collected G1 WITHOUT the cartoon, movie or comics. All the Chinese names you see now are fanmade because the Chinese kids couldn't read anything on the packaging. Now all those kids have grown up and are in the affluent class.

No Hasbro translated the names. Some of them like Optimus, Rodimus, Galvatron, Devastator were very loosely translated. Ironhide, Wheeljack and Grimlock for example were direct translations. Elita-1, Alpha Trion, Arcee were transliterations.

The names in Taiwan and Hong Kong though are apparently different.

The general idea is good. We didn't like the ending of BM, so we could like if many of the Transformers in that world didn't like it either. The natural next step is that they start fighting about it.

I don't get why people want full finger articulation, most people devolve into doing middle fingers, they're finicky as shit and can be more fragile, what I'd rather have a hand that better holds weapon accessories.

If you can break mp ironhide's hands plugging in his own weapon I see that as an issue, too tight a clearance for the hands, pegs should be in the middle of the hand, but they all have the peg near the back, clearly they don't intend for people to play with them.

I have the same problem in New Zealand. The only way to get them around here is either through Toy World's inflated prices or K-Mart (when they bother to update their stock), and even then releases are very sparodic with many/most waves skipped.

Basically we had Wave 1 everywhere for a bit, then they sold out and weren't restocked by most places. Ages later Wave 5 (or whichever wave is Rodimus, Blackjack, Groove and Skywarp) showed up at Toy World, but nothing else has been around.
