Sign me up for Black Adam.
>>5802692
Deadpool looks more like someone cosplaying Deadpool.
Any Leafs here buy Mezco 1:12?
Where the fuck do you guys shop that won't rape your wallet? American high-end toys are way more expensive to get ahold of than Japanese ones.
>>5802796
I don't even know what Red Son is and I want it.
>>5802778

I hate that they consistently either completely miss the mark on things, or nail it.
That's an awful headsculpt for black adam.
>>5802932
It's alternate reality Superman that crashed in the Soviet Union as a baby instead of Kansas.
>>5802937
>>5802942
read it, it's one of the best superman stories
>>5802778
I am not into that headsculpt
>>5803039
Why aren't they doing the new Ghostbusters?
>>5803057
Because they don't hate money.
>>5803057
who? theres only The Ghostbusters. from 1986? how old are you anon?
>>5803057
they probably thought they'd try putting out a product that might actually make money
>>5803069
I think he's talking about that Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon. I'd love a Kylie
>>5803039
I'm really over their whole clothes on 1:12 thing. It only works for very specific things, otherwise it looks like everyone is buried in burlap or have the weirdest bodies.
>>5803039
Ehhh, I was hoping these would trump the diamond select ones but those jumpsuits are realllly bulky.
>>5803045
Gonna have to get this. Mezco is the clear choice for DC figures
Managed to take this behind closed doors. You're welcome.
>>5803045
this looks really nice DESU.
>>5803164
I have hopes for the upcoming Mafex(batfleck mostly) figures. They look nicer than the Mezco counterparts and certainly are cheaper.
>>5803264
and they have incredible QC problems
almost every mafex figure has extremely poor construction quality
>>5803306
That's why I'm waiting for reviews. But hey, a limb that pops off easy is still an acceptable trade for better aesthetic and articulation.
The only thing that would really ruin it is if the joints are too loose to hold poses.
>>5803306
Which is something I simply fail to understand, and they seem to have actually gotten worse. How can they receive so many damn complaints and continue to churn out crap for 4 years without fixing anything.
>>5802928
I have been preordering One:12 from Canucktibles; the prices are so-so but they have been legit anytime I've contacted them or asked for a special request (they got preorders for Cinemachines after asking). Still, $109.99 to $114.99 CAN sucks.
I get Masterpieces from KoolToyz, the prices vary but sometimes work out a better deal than buying from 'Murican sites. For other Jap shit, I haven't a clue. Never found a Canadian site that carries the Machine Robo figures.
>>5803036
needs to show off a little more skin
>>5803165
It's a video from Marvel Legends Collectors you liar!
>>5803034
>They're doing things like this now
Space Ghost with SGCTC desk when?
>>5803045
why does his gun look so big?
>>5803524
Because it's bigger than his head.
Ugh muh dick
>>5803534
>>5803042
I didn't see this one coming at all. This, Red Skull, and Red Son Supes look the best out of this thread. New 52 Deathstroke has a hideous costume and there's something off on Black Adam maybe his ears?
>>5803544
Seeing fat people eat pisses me off something horrible
>>5803534
> spidey with restrictive clothing
pass
>>5802692
Hope we see the rest of the Punisher variants they are doing. I want to see how they handle Trench Coat Frank
This looks quite bad honestly.
>>5803660
Yeah it does... there's no detail on his suit.
Guess it's up to figma to try and dethrone my Revoltech pre-order now.
>>5803660
Yeah looks like total shit. But I wasn't really depending on the Mezco figure to be good anymore after seeing the Revoltech that's like a thousand times better than I'd ever expect anything else to be.
>>5803624
>>5803660
Man this illustrates the problem with cloth suits.
> no weathering
> no muscle definition
> no sculpted details like wrinkles in the suit
> actual wrikles from bunching up always look bad
> no shading because no paint
>>5803165
>the eyes light up
>>5803707
Looks too much like a Barbie. The bubble is a cool idea though.
Looks like they might have tightened Batman's suit a little bit or maybe it's just the pose
>>5803048
Holy shit!!!!! does this mean there is a chance Red Hood is coming soon
>>5802778
>>5802932
>>5803040
>>5803165
>>5803690
>>5803045
Ugh, my wallet...
>>5803704
Here you go brah
>>5803690
My dick is absolute diamonds for this one... but why the Thunderbolts skull? White skull is best skull.
>>5803949
Articulation looks pretty limited
>>5803695
>no muscle definition
To be fair, TDK Batman did kinda have some muscle definition.
Too bad they couldn't maintain the same standard across their newer line up.
>>5803165
>closed doors
you mean
>closed glass doors on the side of their booth for everyone to see
So no Bones, Uhura, or Chekov? The fuck? This BvS/Suicide Squad/Deadpool shit should get flushed down the fucking toilet and make way for actual good stuff.
This thing just keeps looking worse
>>5804341
Yeah I'm a little bummed they announced a Kirk variant but no Bones
>>5803039
Heads are better than Diamond Select but the bodies are awful. Hate to say it but I like Mattel's figures best overall. I'd buy the one:12 Ecto-1 they teased the possibility of in a heartbeat since it should be compatible with those, and I'd be interested in any characters Mattel either never made or shit the bed on in 1:12 scale.
>>5803750
with cloth, just moving it around will tighten it.
It's one of the drawbacks for cloth (articulation being impeded), but here yo uare saying it's a good thing.
Also, the figures look 2x better in person.
Superman looks so mediocre that I had mostly convinced myself that I wasn't going to get it
But now they show Darkseid looking like the best fucking figure I've ever seen and I feel like I have to get Superman to go with him now LOL I got hit with the mixup I was not ready
>>5802928
>Leafs
What's that anon?
Have they fixed the ankle range? Or the ranges of the other joints?
>>5804376
>>icecream and wafer dildo art installation
>>5803034
>separate chair instead of deluxe bundle
NICE
>>5803660
D-piddy!?
>>5803690
I need to see more of this. Fully Loaded - more guns? Just Trenchcoat and duffel? SHOW ME MORE, MAN. MY DICK CAN'T TAKE THE TEASING.
>>5802778
Something's really off about his face to me, but still, pretty fucking cool. Nice to have worthwhile Shazam! figs that aren't Mego repros
>>5803998
It's not full on classic costume but there was already a white skull version announced.
>>5805171
I'm still waiting for the 'classic costume' variant.
>>5804816
Canadians
>>5805176
Mezco's idea of Classic variants is just weird.
As a rule of thumb, straps and laces on a costume? Not classic.
You know who needs one of these?
>>5803998
Comes with both
>>5802692
Did they actually sculpt a dirty, empty pizza box?
That's...dedication, I'll give them that.
>>5806832
Looks like a cardboard prop to me.
>>5806832
>Sculpt
More like they cut a pattern and then folded and painted it.
>>5806766
>needs
>can't happen
the toy rights to The Mask were somehow lost in limbo when Toy Island folded, not even Dark Horse or New Line is aware of who has the rights anymore.
>>5804376
>Terrible head sculpt
>Bad proportions
>Thick plastic S just to do a magnetic bullet ricochet gimmick
So many obvious mistakes they should have easily forseen.
>>5803534
I'd be all over this, but the head is a little too big looking, and the raised eye lenses are killing it for me. Raised webbing was bad enough, and it still has that bad plasticy look on the red daredevil has.
dat mr. mind
>>5808927
The Mister Mind is 70% of the reason I want this figure.
>>5802692
That cloth costume looks like shit. Makes him look like hes wearing pajamas. Would look much better in the faux leather that dredd had.
>>5809386
I pre-ordered it because it's the only presentable figure that anyone will ever make of this character.
Still waiting for it to release.
Do these usually get delayed past the projected release date?
>>5809471
They are usually a month or so later than the advertised release date.
>>5808927
wish i cared about the character, because this is the best looking mezco so far
>>5803949
what a cute little miniskirt
>>5808927
I'm on the fence with this because not-quite-poorfag, but have other expenses coming up. It says the pre-order is for Jul-Aug, so what does that mean in real-world time? How have their pre-orders panned out so far in terms of promised time vs. fulfillment?
>>5803660
>>5804376
Man, I hope this line doesn't fold before they get to characters where cloth might actually look good on.
And also bikes.
>>5810027
>How have their pre-orders panned out so far in terms of promised time vs. fulfillment?
If it says July-August I'd hope for August but expect September
So far I've got two one;12s, one was a month later than advertised and the other was actually on time
>>5810323
Thanks for that. Moving ahead with preorder. Love me some big red cheese.
>>5808927
Pixel Dan?
>>5803695
in person some of the figures do have muscle definition, i think it's the prototypes (hopefully) that don't get that treatment. because of getting the toy out quickly or something. seeing the bvs batman in person convinced me to buy it over all other options of that figure out right now.
>>5803707
omg i didn't imagine it, i got high while walking around the con, and i couldn't remember who made the harley i wanted to buy.
i think this is the best one i saw though the entertainment earth one looked pretty good too.
>>5804376
>they fixed the too tight neck hole
>everything else looks like ass
why is it so hard to get a good superman, it's either the face is terrible, the articulation, the cape is shit
but this one i seriously was thinking about but the neck hole wasn't working for me and now they fix it and the rest looks terrible, how?
