I'm not going to be as optomistic as that guy, but there's a good chance to still get it at a reasonable price.

Even if you have to get it from Mandrake, its likely to show up at near retail prices.

I would like to assume that, due to Nostalgia and better name recogniton, Voltron/GoLion would sell better than GaoGaiGar. (and remember, GaoGaiGar got a 2nd run... THOSE are the ones that shelfsat. There's no guarentee GoLion will)

Not sure, but it largely depends on how well the manufacturer did the chrome.

Beast Wars figures for example, some have chrome that's pretty much perfect if you treat toy well to this day. Some figures however flake off like nothing, even if it was previously MISB.

I'm not completely sure if it helps, but I just apply an even layer of Pledge floor polish on the chromed parts for protection. Not sure if it'd help from possible flaking in the future, but it soothes my mind that it's less likely to get fine scratches.

Hopefully someone can answer this for me: the only chogokin I have is the mmpr mega zord and that cost me like $40-$50 at a Barnes and Noble a few years back. Are all chogokins the same size and quality? I'm dying for a good voltron fig but every single one that comes out is like 250 and up and bats has this new one listed for friggin $300.

Super Robot Chogokin are about half the size, which is probably what you have going with the price point and being Daizyujin/Megazord.

Gokin is a blanket term for robot toys with diecast parts, Chogokin is Bandai's/POPY's lines (Soul of, Super Robot, DX, Super Imaginative) and there are EX-Gokin, Brave Gokin, Max Gokin, etc etc.

It's a good deal, but I'm all about contingency. I've received one too many defected items from less experienced stores with more flimsy return policies and have had to pay the price.
