Looking at you Chogokin Galliar. Everything was nearly perfect until I realized this. It's a shame, I feel like the figure could definitely have been made to accommodate it even with the transformation.

every fucking revoltech I have. I bought 3, from different times, just to see if they got better.

DMC3 Dante, looks very bad from any angle unless something on the box.

War Machine, cant stand, looks awkward, joints are awful.

Monster Hunter same as the first two.

Yeah those cemented me in never buying from them.

Their stuff looks cool though

What do you mean? Japanese brands beat out American brands quality-wise all the time, at least from my experience. There's a reason they're expensive: 1. Shipping overseas, 2. Better quality control.

Funny.
>at least from my experience
I hope your experience is not buying figures with very obvious problems like these
>2. Better quality control
Better quality control costs pennies.

>Shipping overseas
I never count shipping.

For 3-4x more, i expect Mezco one:12 features.

You are talking to subjectanon. He has an anti-weaboo boner the size of Florida and was genetically engineered to shill for Toy Biz. He has since hacked his internal coding to allow shilling for Hasbro, but occasionally he goes off on a rant about the good old days of Toy Biz - that's the glitch in his coding patch.

Yes I'm still gonna keep bringing this up because it pisses me off. More so when people say these sorts of figures have "excellent articulation".

I have the WM mini and it's designed for dynamic posing, not a single pose.

Same thing with the Rebuild Evas, Muv-Luvs,and Patlabors, they can do both static and dynamic.

Are you sure you're not just meme'ing revoltech?
>>
>>5800857
Which Hunter?
I've got the standard Rath Set and he's a ton of fun to put in different poses.

Probably the most played with figure on my shelf by virtue of how many different poses I put him in.

Had an Eva-00 that fit that description. That "one pose" wasn't even good. I can't remember the brand but it was only like 20 bucks. Paint wasn't bad though.

Thing that gets me is that it had swappable hands and accessories so it was like it was trying to escape that convention, but ultimately failing.

Also had Marvel Select (I think; didn't have the box) Ultimate Hulk like that. I should have known from the start when such a large figure was so light. Should have gotten the Black Stormtrooper instead.
>>
Ball joints, I've always wanted a figure that can just come apart! I certainly didn't pay good money for something that is sturdy and will last. Ball joints are always perfect and never have qc issues. I'd sacrifice the 10 degrees of rotation in a hip for something that didn't allow my toys to pop apart with little to no effort.

Sounds like one of those old Kaiyodo/Xebec figures, they were the ooooold Evangelion figures and came in posed and standing still versions.

I mean yeah, you'd think she'd have gotten something, but shinji's absence is the real bizarro choice. Evangelion has got to be unique in it's main character getting no merch. I totally understand why, but it's still mind blowing that we got figmas AND revortechs of mari and still no shinji.

You know, what always surprised me was Slayers having practically zero merchandise. One of the first big amines to hit the States, popular enough to be revived for not one but two new seasons, and fuck all to show for it.
>>
>>5803133
I wish the SoC line was like the classic chogokin lines in that respect. They'd part out figures so you had an alternative to buying the set. That said, I can't see GGG's other components selling well if they did that, but I digress. I have GGG, but I'd love to have a standalone Gaigar. He's like a cousin to the Transformers, and it amuses me that he and BW Cheetor's design both originate in 96 from takara toys yet are totally different aesthetically. I want one to display with the upcoming MP Cheetor.

>extra fist hands are hard plastic so you have to nervously pull on them or use hair dryer to soften them so you can actually use the damn sword or gun.

This gives me a mental break down all the time. If I use my hands I can break them, if I use the hair dryer I can fuck up the paint.

The first time I tried to put revolmini snake's rifle into his hand, I took 10 minutes to do it because I was sure it was going to break his fingers off. I've literally never taken it out again, I just use his left hand for everything else.
