For whatever reason, they just didn't give the accessory list with this new Rohan, possibly because they don't have them done properly yet or out of the prototype phase or something. People who already buy the line know they'll be a new alt head and accessories, they just wanted to put the pre-order up without them listed at the moment for whatever reason.
Give it about 2 weeks+. They have months until he releases anyway.

I'm collecting all the JoJo MCs. Jotaro and Gappy are easy to find. Giorno and Joseph show up here and there. But I don't see much of Jonathan and Jolyne.

I think Medicos shoved most efforts on Kaneki and Juuzou and realized they fucked up Shu with the sculpt so his articulation got boned in key areas. At the same time Kaneki's Kagune seems to have some sort of single joint system along the back piece but I doubt you can do anything dynamic.

Depends. TG is totally milk-able because it, sadly, has a lot of Tumblrites that like it. Normally, I hate that fact, but those people are likely to spend tons of money on shit, let alone an actually good figure.

If Kaneki and Juuzou do well, they might still turn around and ignore the fact that Tsukiyama and the Kaneki Statue Legend were poorly received (in big part due to their own retardation)

Seems like a single ball hinge at the base. Essentially you'll just be able to move it back and forth at the very stem of the tentacles, and I doubt they added wires.

The kagune would've been better in every way if they didn't go with the shittiest design. The Kanou Lab kagune design looked way more imposing, and they could've just added balljoints near every connection between two segments. Would look more natural, too.


I'm not sure if TG SAS are dead, but I do think Medicos should slow it down on TG and return to giving Jojo's some love again.

They can wait at least until the sales records are in to decide if they wanna continue, and when they do, not go on with 3 figures right away again, but spread it out more evenly so Jojo doesn't get almost entirely pushed to the sideline.

I think both the Guts and Kaneki one are polystone. Kaneki one is a lot smaller, true, and also has less paint detail.

But I think both are just insane. I guess I just would never be able to see myself pay over 1000 euros or dollars for a statue, especially not one where the face and skin tones aren't 10/10 for me.

I admit, though, that the base, armor and blade look amazing, but a 137k yen statue should be all-around amazing, and a 'meh' face and skin aren't worth that much in my opinion.

Polystone holds small sharp details much better and won't warp/lean/etc. PVC isn't a problem with softer sculpts or figures without lots of small sharp details. However if you look really closely at prototypes (usually made in harder more brittle materials) and compare them to final production PVC figures you'll see the loss of detail. Look at any SAS or even some figma. Yeah the PVC figures still look nice but you'll never get that ultra sharp detail you can get with polystone or the materials used in creating the prototypes.

Thanks for the concise and clear explanation. I guess I just had never considered it, since the previous Statue Legends seem to capture detail just fine, and don't have any polystone or polyresin from what I have seen.

And I mean - the Kaneki statue doesn't really have that much detail that I would say it would really be necessary. The Guts statue does make a great case, though, since that one is obviously loaded with detail, whereas Kaneki is literally a manlet with centipede tails coming out of his back that have minimal detail. The most detail is put in the face, mask and hair, so I guess I can kinda see the point there.

The fact that it doesn't warp/lean/etc. though is an interesting detail and does make it very essential.

Both Josuke's should not set much back since one was reissued quite a bit and Jojolion Josuke is generally cheap.

Not sure how the aftermarket looks for reissue Joseph if you want the Battle Tendency one and not Part 3. Jotaro bounces around with my findings of 1.5 Jotaro being a little rarer and priced higher but nothing too out there.

Aren't the Part 5 cast still fairly cheap? When I got into this line originally I remember Part 5 being one of the cheapest SAS's you can get an entire cast of beyond WF Gio. I generally see Trish hitting prices as low as 2k with Spice Girl next to that. Bruno 1st touches on 5k+ usually with Bruno 2nd being a consistent 3 or 3.5k.

Though I mostly account on stuff getting more expensive and why figures are rising in price more and more over time. Mandarake still exist for those deals so hopefully it eases down a bit.

You can always mess around with display ideas.

Get all the protags and their stands and develop a display with Rohan, Okuyasu, Bruno, Mista, and Kira with the characters associated in each part. You have a 3 man crew for Part 5, you can have Josuke, Okuyasu, and Rohan fighting Kira or searching for him. It comes down to how imaginative you are for what you have.

Or just solo display those extras as their own thing but I can't blame you if it bothers you that much.

Trish is pretty limited since she only uses single-joints at the elbows and knees. If you didn't like her in Part 5 (especially with the dubious translations), I wouldn't get her. Spice Girl is pretty nice, especially since she runs for cheap on the after market. If you get Mista, you can display them together like it's a Chariot Requiem situation.

Then again, I got Trish for the Chariot Requiem display option, especially since she includes a gun.

Giorno 1st sits in an odd spot with WF GE being the complimentary combo whereas Blue gels better with the original GE but it does come down to how the finished display looks and how you personally feel about it. Each stand out in their own interesting way with either the pinks of WF GE or the bright golds of GE1st contrasting the blue of the new Giorno.

It's up to you since the design is a major factor next to color choice.

General articulation is roughly the same but GER1st, WFGE, and WFGER offer soundplates.

The only other factor is the story influence both have since we know the sort of shit GER does and having that in figure form is neat within itself but not everyone is a fan of the design.
