I just received a big box of Ultraman & monster vinyls I had ordered from the HLJ summer sale, I had had them sent registered SAL so I took a while.

I basically got the leftovers of the Ultra Monster X series and a couple of 500 series figures. In hand they're really nicely detailed despite being such simple toys. I wish I had decided to place my order before some of the other kaiju I was eyeing had sold out.

I ended up with 11 kaiju and 3 of ultraman Xs forms, now I'm considering ordering some of the Ultraman Orb stuff, or possibly an X-Diviser so I can do something with all those cyber monster cards, though I haven't learned Japanese so I wouldn't understand most of what its saying...

I don't suppose anyone here knows how to find Legend Hero toys anywhere, do they? Specifically the Guan Yu changer or a Guan Yu small toy himself. The closest I could find were the words "레전드히어로 삼국 관우" which should be "Legend Hero Guan Yu", but actually finding the toys seems to be an impossibility. eBay has a couple of the $5 figures of the characters and the mechs but that's it.

I managed to find a site that seems legit enough from the reviews I found called gmarket, but it took a solid hour of searching in Korean before I found one that does work in English and ship internationally. There is also a small Guan Yu figure(As well as the blue, red, orange, and one other color characters) but you have to be careful since one is a normal figure that says random lines when you touch their head(The good one) and one is just a wind up toy(The bad one). The Changer is also almost double the price on these marketplaces all across the board, their price is normally ₩19800 which is like $18 but on the Marketplaces they're all like $40 somehow.

Kamen Rider 1 has 4 suits, not including the First/Next version. He has the original, which they already made, and the powered up suit from Ghost's movie. These two figures are of his other suits, the Sakurajima suit and the New 1 suit that is the more iconic one for the double riders these days.

Yeah.

80's graphic design is all about being structured and futuristic. Chromed out words, neon colors, computer grid graphics, 3d text and thick lettering. Even logos trying not to be futuristic had a very structure style to it, as seen on the Detonator box.

90's graphic design leaned more on being spontaneous and cool to get people's attention. "Edgy" as it was called. Graffiti/"Street" inspired elements, bizarre shapes/patterns, colors splashed haphazardly, overlapping lettering, and uneven font.

The Gamer Driver's logo has a lot of that. Heck, it even has magenta graffiti splatter at the bottom.

I'd say the colors are a crossover of 80s and 90s since they both loved using those colors, just in different ways.

You know, they said they couldn't include more accessories with MMPR including their main weapons because of the Megazord parts, but the Ninja Storm Rangers complete their Zord in 3 figures vs 6 and thus come with twice as many BaM parts, plus come with their sword and sheathe. All that, yet all the MMPR Rangers come with is that 1/6 of a Zord plus a folded Blade Blaster that's essentially only good for fitting into the holster. I guess they're going to try to milk MMPR. I could see an Alpha Legacy figure that comes with their weapons or something like that, since they did say they would try to get that out.

I also wonder what they're going to do with the Crimson and Navy and Green Ninja Storm Rangers. Will they actually complete their Zords? And just to finish off the Ninja Storm figures look like way better deals overall. And post some pics please!

The first is slated for July, second is for August.

I am so excited. Although I am not looking forward to an afternoon of applying 40 stickers, I always get so nervous when I am doing it.
Although I did buy a used Deboss key set a while ago and all the stickers were applied already, here's hoping that can happen again.

Earlier SICs tend to be cheap, they look nice but they have poor poseability. Kiwami Tamashii is cheap because they're smaller figures and Takumi Tamashii is cheap because they're small statuettes.
