That one is fine, especially if you can get it for cheap. The sets come with three, and they hold toys of the size you described just fine.

No need to get crazy elitist about stands, of all things.

Get Tamashii act 4 instead of 5. More versatile

I have one and it's actually quite crap, feels like the VF-1 I have it supporting might fall off at any moment and that's not a heavy figure by any means.
These are supposedly for mecha, that's why it has ratchets at the base but the more standard setup with screw tightening on their Act-3 stage stands feels more secure.
Other than that I tried Obitsu stands and they're fine for light figures, but the base is a little small.
Has anyone tried Kotobukiya's Flying Bases? Those look like they might be more up to the task.
