Do you think they'll make a 12" Marvel Legends Ant-Man? The BAF is small and the Hot Toys is too expensive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't both Marvel and DC publish Amalgam books under the Amalgam label? I imagine that the rights to each character are technically owned by whoever published that character's book, but they couldn't be used without the consent of the other. For example, Iron Lantern was technically published by Marvel, so they'd retain him, but wouldn't be able to use him without DC's approval. Vice-versa with Lobo the Duck.

Strictly from characters, each one of them are the best iteration of their respective characters. The DEFINITIVE version of ML Deadpool and Wolverine is worth owning IMO just because these two are very iconic characters. Then again it is X-men wave and some reason their quality is never as good as Spiderman wave.

Phoenix, Havok, Kitty, Rogue and Iceman all have flaws, but they're still the best figure of their characters that ever came out

I want the whole X-Men Legends wave but don't care for the BAF. I prefer the Select Juggernaut.

Or fix it. If it's the elbow joint that broke, fish out any pieces using needlenose pliers and a hairdryer. Then swap out the joint with one from White Tiger, which can be bought for like $14 or less.

The inner "peg" of the joint is a fused plastic piece that bridges both sides of the inner arm rather than a simple peg, so you'll need to heat the arm, slide an x-acto blade down the side of the joint, sever one side of the fused joint, heat again, pull the joint out while it's pliable, put the new one in, dab some super glue on the inner peg, put it back in place, and hold it tightly while moving the joint to ensure it doesn't bond with the other plastic.

Yup, should be no issues at all.
I had to force the hand open to fit his shield grip in. It's the typical material that gets really soft with heat but remains hard otherwise.

His open Hands should grab most scale things with how they are sculpted with little issue.

Too bad, I dumped the POs I had with them from that wave because they moved to august and I figured they were doing that thing where they'd just keep slipping back month after month. I kept the x-men singles I had though, since I probably won't be able to find them anywhere else.

I got miles on ebay though since I only wanted him and silk, and he's actually really nice. There's some gummy joints, but the body really does feel more articulated than pizza spiderman. The hips are great, and the ab crunch is as good as spocks, which I think was the previous gold standard. Also, the double jointed elbows and swappable hands make the female body look even worse than normal.

I got space venom wave hobgoblin in, and he's kind of a mess? Like, he looks pretty great and there's a ton of new sculpting, but a lot of his joints are bad.

The problem I always have with these is how stuff like stitches and the weave of the fabric always brake the illusion of realism. It looks too big and immediately reminds you of the figure's scale. Same thing happens when watching old movies using miniatures with water and the huge droplets immediately break the illusion.
