Well different company different standards, they might not. Venom Snake got no one, and Kaiyodo did monster and hunter pairs but Union Creative didn't do Tigrex Hunter. I doubt Beat and Arthus will get anyone else.

The Nendo is great, but it goes for like a hundred bucks these days. These X-Plus statues are huge, like well over a foot tall, and go for around the same price. There's a certain appeal in having a great big Jack Frost to loom over everything. Plus, if we're getting technical, this figure is based directly on the older artwork, whereas the Nendo was based on the slimmer Jack model from the PS2 MegaTen games. It's only a stylistic choice, but some people prefer one look or the other.

I tried looking at pictures of jackfrost from the older games and the nendo jackfrost and it seems like the only difference between the xplus and nendo is the fat belly and maybe the shoes are slightly different. Yeah, the design hasn't really gone through any drastic changes so much as it has little adjustments in proportions. Either way, while an ideal world would have the Nendoroid get reissued so that people can choose, the bigass statue seems like a better deal than the Nendo's aftermarket prices.

Like an anon said above, there's no point in meetups. I've been with friends before and once inside we barely see each other.

There's only any point in meeting up if you're doing an all nighter and want people to hang around with. Trying to line up together via meeting up after first train means at least someone is going to lose a potential space in line as they wait for the others to catch up.

I went early June as flights went up in price late June due to Summer holidays.
