from a toy perspective, venusaur is the best of the 3 as far as its posability and all that, the problems it has are because of the weird chibi proportions it has and it being way under scaled compared to the rest of the line so it doesnt look like it belongs with them

purely visually blastoise is the best one but its a brick and boarderline a statue since it barely has any joints and the ones it does have barely move

charizard is alright but only because there is no better alternative for it, as far as toy value is concerned the joints are stiff and the thing constantly falls apart, its near impossible to pose without the head or tail popping off, and there are some weird engineering choices like the base of the wings not being able to flap and knees sculpted into a bent position with articulated shins as well articulated ankles. Nigga who the fuck needs to rotate just the sins?

The Splatoon Splattershot toys are out now. I was a little confused at first, but there's actually two (kinda three) versions that were just released at the same time.

The best version is the one we've heard a lot about before - It comes in a open-windowed box, is 1:1 scale, shoots water and is pump action. It's a general release in stores.

The other version comes in a box with no window. It's smaller, is available in orange and in blue, shoots water but is just squeeze-trigger activated. It's pretty weak and unreliable. It's available in UFO catcher machines.

They appear to use the exact same sculpt, just in different sizes. The trigger's the only other difference. The bigger version has a design-accurate trigger. The smaller version has a T-shaped trigger you find in a lot of cheap water pistols.
If you want one, make sure you pick up the correct version.

The GEM Jessie, James, Ash and Misty are al prize figure quality. If you want them, wait until they go down. I'm only getting them because the Gen 1 anime means a lot to me. Brock and Nurse Joy were also announced under that line.

The Squid Sister amiibos came out and they're pretty awesome. The other 3 pack is just a recolour but they're still nice.

Skell plamo was supposed to come out this month but was delayed until August. Nendo Zelda comes out in October, but she looks pretty awesome and comes with a Mirror Shield, Master Sword, and Triforce hand for Link's nendo so I'm pretty hype. I'm gonna set them up next to my F4F Windwaker Ganondorf. So where is the line headed? More repaints? More obscure characters, eg: Little Mac, Captain Falcon?
