I like the Bohrok and Krana, but you're talking out of your ass if you think the Krana didn't stand out like Takanuva in 2003.

Really the Beast Masks are just ugly. End of story. No amount of color change could have saved their ugly design. Easily one of if not the worst masks of Bionicle.

It's appearance isn't my main problem with it. It's how the physical piece is engineered, especially with how high it sits, where the eye holes are because of its size, and how it relies on an additional piece just to try to complete its appearance. It's not even a mask at that point.

The elbows and knees cut rods (not even the technically legal pneumatic tubing), and the blue pin axles in the knees are cut on the axle side to allow for the orange technic connector under the red technic brace to sit flush.

Went to a Lego Store the other day, apparently Bionicle figures were moving slow there so they stopped carrying them at that location. They were still sold at bigger Lego stores in the state, but I doubt that we'll get a fourth year at this rate if they're getting phased out like this.

Every time I go back and read the first comic where Kopaka awakens I get goosebumps.

I love how there's so many kids all over the Bionicle forums denying that the mask in the sky is the MoUP when these same shmucks were eating up the "my dad works at LEGO Bonkle is kill" garbage.

Like, how is it not? Everyone is scrambling to get to this ominous volcano, and there's a fucking evil mask's silhouette bursting out of it in an ominous purple glow.

My theory is that Umarak, now under Makuta's control, is headed toward the volcano to get the mask. Makuta needed the MoCo in order to assume direct control over the beasts that have laid dormant (possibly also within the volcano as guardians or some shit) under the island to thwart the Toa as he gets the MoUP. Letting the MoCo get destroyed would have been a tactical error otherwise. The beasts are seen ebbing neon green because they're being corrupted/controlled by Umarak.

I doubt the actual toy will have purple in it, and I feel like JtO just took artistic liberty to make it purple to differentiate it from the green we've been seeing everywhere because of the MoCo. However, I don't think it's the MoT and it certainly isn't anything else. It looks too unnatural with it's far apart eyes and nostrils. I hope the heroes lose this summer. I hope we see the villains in the summer as either the 6 large or 6 small. Something to change this line up in 2017.

Also, if we do get the MoUP in gold, I'd expect the pure version in the winter and the gunmetal/black one with Makooti in the summer. Similar to the MoCo this year.

After the Umarak is defeated, the Creatures will probably return to the maze and guard the mask.

Storyboard for the start of the next JtO episode. Ekimu has sent his falcon to track Umarak to the region of stone, all the six toa and upgraded Ekimu with his falcon walk there and he mentions how Umarak is attempting to create a portal to an other world. Pohatu notices his massive footprints and Lewa jokes that Makuta should had chosen some place nicer for the portal, scene ends.

I personally think Akami would have elements of vehicles that are designed to take off and land vertically, while Wairuha would be more like a fighter jet or an animal with bloody great wings...he needs to build up speed before he can take off.

Also neither of them have guns or Av-Matoran connectors, because hot damn those were stupid.

I'd say seeing as the trigger for forming the Kaita is the three toa within it flying to bits and beginning to reassemble themselves, it's most likely a mix of the second and third options.

I got bored, decided I was gonna make one of these. First time making something like this, taking inspiration from stuff I've seen floating around on here and tumblr.

There's probably a ton of problems and shit I could fix so some tips would help.
One thing I was thinking about was getting rid of the foot clip-ons and changing the green to the yellow-green. I could also swap 2015 Onua's mask with 2016 Onua's corrupted mask to get a bit more of the yellow-green.
