So with the next WonFes coming up and wondanon out of comission, what are we going to do? Is anyone planning on going who could fill his massive shoes or are we loathe to take in information from less notable sources?

Also, desires and expectations! Personally I'm looking forward to more Figma Ninja Slayer and whatever Vulcanlog/Revoltech have to show off.
>>
>>5756999
>So with the next WonFes coming up and wondanon out of comission, what are we going to do?
We're gonna do just like every WF, we're gonna get the same informations and pics that'll be relayed everywhere. Wondanon is a cool guy but what he posted was always "old" news.

What happened to him anyway?
>>
>>5756999
What do you mean Wond is out of commission? I spoke to him and he's going.
>>
>>5757006
Wond posted pics of the Yugioh revoltechs which were the only sources until months later when official pics were taken.
>>
>>5757008
Really? That's great! At the end of the last one he mentioned that it may be his last one because of personal stuff. Glad everything seemed to work out though.
>>
>>5757010
No he didn't. We had pics before he even started posting anything.
>>
>>5756999
Dunno who told you what but I'm going as always.
>>
>>5757013
Just to chime in on this, not trying to glory hunt or anything, but every source that posted the Yugioh revoltechs sourced the photo I took.

It was a no photo thing which was probably why. But yeah, try to find any pic taken of those at Wonfes that wasn't the one I took.
>>
thank you wondanon!
>>
As always I hope for figma of yu yu hakusho

Im hoping to see a revoltech venom/spiderman prototype

But most of all SAS gyro, though i've set my expectations low on that one.
>>
>>5757022
>As always I hope for figma of yu yu hakusho
I will root for SHF.

Also
SHF Ryouga, Watson, Moriarty and Jackie Chan
4InchNel Blues, Forte and Roll
Storm Collectibles Cammy, Chun-li and Karin
SOC/DXSOC Golion
>>
>>5757030
Oh god no, have you seen what they do to shounen series. You'd be an idiot to "root" for that
>>
>>5757036
>prefer figma to figuarts
>you'd be an idiot to "root" for that
Found the kettle. A massive kettle.

Praying for more Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff. I love what we've got so far and what we have coming. Apparently an Atem is in the works so i'd hope for a figma of him.
>>
>>5757052
I bet you loved those narutu figures
>>
>>5757030
>SHF Ryouga

Dammit, THIS!
>>
>>5757087
>giving a fuck about Naruto.
>>
>>5757036
>have you seen what they do to shounen series
Like Kinikumon?

>>5757066
Honestly, as much as I love DM, I wish we could get figma of the other franchise main characters, like Judai, Yusei or Yuya.
>>
Painted Saitama Figma?
>>
>>5757100
at least spell it right, man.

>>5757099
And what makes you think YYH wouldnt get the same treatment? You're rolling the dice with figuarts.
>>
>>5757100
>Judai, Yuesi or Yuya
100% Agree. I hope they begin to branch out a bit. But i'd love a dark magician figma to go with the upcoming DMG
>>
>>5756999
WISHLIST:
>Painted Vulcanlog Beat
>Steel Ball Run SAS (Particularly pic related)
>Figma Space Patrol Luluco and Little Witch Academia
>Figma James Sunderland (Heather Mason would be nice but she's not priority)
>SRC BIG O YOU'VE FUCKING TEASED IT FOR YEARS BANDAI COME ON
>>
>>5757066
Woah, that Atem statueshit looks rad as fuck. Love the cape.
>>
>>5757106
>Luluco figmas
>Little Witch Academia figmas
There is nothing I wouldn't give for these.
>>
>>5757128
LuLuCo's getting a Nendo, LWA is getting a series, and Goodsmile has put out multiple Trigger figures already. One or both is honestly not too unlikely. I mean, cute witch girl figmas? I don't see they WOULDN'T jump on that.
>>
This is finall ythe year of the Append Len figma
>>
>>5757104
>And what makes you think YYH wouldnt get the same treatment? You're rolling the dice with figuarts.
And what makes you think YYH figma wouldn't be as shitty as 99% of the figmas which are way worse than "Narutu" figuarts most of the time?

Go to bed kid.
>>
OP ,it's a month away, and even then it'd be easy to track the stream of photos.

At this point I'm only waiting for surprise annoncements because I don't think they're gonna show something I really want

>>5757106
LWA figures would be neat.
>>
I'll be following /a/'s buyfag thread because they post so much more and at a faster rate. Articulated and statueshit. Don't get me wrong, Wond is literally the best man on this board, but fuck you all and your unwarranted hate for statueshit. /a/ is a better source.
>>
>>5757182

But muh rules that like one guy cares about.
>>
>>5757104
>>5757174
>my jap toys are better than your jap toys
Fuck off with the both of you.
>way worse than "Narutu" figuarts most of the time
There's only one good Naruto SHF out and its Kakashi
The others were straight up garbage before like One Piece SHF tier garbage.
At least they are finally retooling Naruto I guess
>>
>>5757174
>as 99% of the figmas which are way worse than "Narutu" figuarts most of the time?

You're either blind, deluded, or a figma hater if you seriously believe that.
>>
>>5757191
The janitors and mods still care. Statueshit threads are still deleted within minutes. The rules aren't ever going to change.
>>
>>5757174
Now you're just baiting
>>
>>5757204
>>5757207
>>5757238
Shut up kids.
>>
I want Gecco to make a Skull face
>>
>SAS Baoh coloured prototype
>a good Devilman figure that isn't the overpriced VAH
That's about it.
>>
>>5757014
You're a champ, Wond.

>>5757022

Hoping for SAS Gyro and Johnny.

Some more SAS Tokyo Ghoul.

And this one will never happen, but I'll keep hoping: Figma Simon (TTGL)
>>
>>5757255
This is a board for toys, come on now.
>>
>>5757144
Every year you post about Append Len figma. Please give up. If it didn't happen within the year after release its not happening now. It hurts me to see you keep doing this to yourself.

(Mostly impossible) Dreams:
Pokemon Crystal nendo
Phantasy Star that isn't statueshit
SRC Big O
Valkyria Chronicles that isn't statueshit
Harvest Moon/Bokujou Monogatari nendos
Read or Die
Magic Knight Rayearth Umi and Fuu prototype Figma
>>
>>5757100
I'd fucking love a yusei if he came with his runner
>>
I'm gonna go total normie status and say I'm super excited to see prototypes of figma twilight princess link, metroid prime Samus and deadpool.

The first figma link and Samus just didn't really do it for me, but now they're releasing my favorite versions of these characters which is badass.

The revoltech version of deadpool is good but it's a little roided out and too serious-ish I guess. I'm hoping figmas version is a more skinny and fun version of the character with some normal, non-squinty eyes
>>
>>5757505
Figma is going for the comic look of Deadpool as well.

Im with you on samus and link, didnt bother with the other ones. Doubt we'll see them though.
>>
>>5757182
What's with newfags thinking /toy/ made their own rules?
>>
>>5757801
The rule is a enforced because people get pissy about it, complain, and report anyone who posts statueshit. I bet if everyone contributed to a serious thread where we could come together and appeal the statueshit rule, with limitations like maybe "no pornographic statues or hot glue pics/gifs" and everyone wanted to change the rule we could formally submit an appeal to the moderator(s). But that's clearly never going to happen because nobody wants it to happen. So yeah, no board makes up its own rules entirely, but in this case it's a byproduct of /toy/'s mentality.
>>
>>5756999
I'm gonna be in japan around this time, does anyone know if you have to buy tickets on advance? or can you just like go that same day and get in?
>>
>>5757919
Depends on your intentions. If you want to line up and get in early, it's better to get your tickets in advance, otherwise you can just buy at the door.

The ticket is basically the guidebook to the event, you can pick it up at numerous places, but the easiest for a visitor would just be to pick it up at the Kaiyodo shop in Akiba.
>>
>>5757925
Thanks for responding! I'm guessing getting early is better if you intend to buy stuff?
>>
>>5757927
Pretty much yeah. Also depending on what you want to buy and how many different vendors you intend to visit.

I'll just be picking up Jojo SAS this year so I'll be lining up from 6am. Over the last couple of years I'd been doing all-nighters with friends though.
>>
>>5757931
Guess I'll try to aim for that, I'm ok with just looking tho, so I'll see how it goes, thanks again for responding!

>a sanic figure (revo/figma whatever, it's his 25th after all)
>arle from puyo puyo (revo/figma, same reason as sanic)
>americomi spawn (or any western comic character that is not from marvel, fuck you disney)
>figma guyver III prototype
>painted beat and arthur
>more capcom and sega figures from the vulcanlog line (amaterasu and nights would be great, viewtiful joe would be a dream come true)
>painted figma phoenix wright
>either a maya or edgeworth announcement
>a prototype of nendo meta knight
>more figures from sentinel's 4inch line, maybe an articulated benkei and musashi instead of little statueshits, a cutman prototype would be ideal
>more assemble borgs
out of those, i think sanic, arle, and more capcom/sega figures are way too much, but hey it's nice to hope even if it is imposible
>>

>>
>>5757946
I've been told her stuff sells up fast, as in, you'll need to line up early for that.
>>
>>5757952
Haven't even gone on sale yet. Will be available from 6th of July.
>>
>>5757946
Hey, I went to shinki booths for the past two years at wf. Can't go this time though.

I'd say you have time to grab something high priority before going to Amberworks.

IE, the Estoril kit being put out by m3m2. He got the go-ahead this time to put out the kit finally, so we can expect he'll be selling castings of it.

That said, his stuff sells out very very quickly for whatever reason, either because he doesn't make enough, or his circle is that popular.

http://m3m2.tumblr.com/

(pls get me a copy, I can't go this time...)
>>
>>5757966
Don't dilly dally going to Amberworks' booth though, since they're still very popular for their shinki clothes and people will inevitably line up for that causing you to waste time at the line instead of running around buying stuff.
>>
>>5757966
I'm actually asking a friend to pick me up one. I'm not much of a GKer so that fact that the Razz piece comes pre-painted is really appealing to me.
>>
>>5757970
>>5757966
oh and it's worth mentioning that you should probably be doing an all nighter in a nearby karaoke place if you're planning on grabbing anything from either of these circles. Showing up at 10 AM isn't going to get you anywhere.
>>
I dont suppose that anyone might be going and willing to middle man a few things for a fee to a poor anon across the pond?
>>
>>5757972
Well, hope you manage to get it then.

It might be a better option to hope that it shows up on YJA immediately after the event.

You'll get in, just that's not what you have to worry about really depending. If you're going for exclusives, or GKs from well known producers(if you heard about them here, assume they're well-known). Getting the advance ticket will help you a lot.

Exclusives like pic-related is more or less gone within 30-40 mins of the show opening, but if you're looking at figma, nendo, or similar level exclusives think you should be able get them even halfway through the show.

Honestly feel it's worth it to see the displays the producers put up sometimes, a little more so when some have sold through their stock for the day hahaha!

Looking at the Sen-ti-nel link(thanks for posting these by the way!), nice little reminder they made a figure for the original Tekkaman. Has there ever been a Tekkaman Blade announced or previewed by them?
Had the Armor Plus figure, but sold it hoping Sen-ti-nel would be considering a Blade figure, after I got their Orgun.

As well hope you don't mind taking a request to take pics of the RAH showcase again, hoping they might show off something for the RAH Neo line if not a Eva; but mostly just because it takes a bit for pics of the Kamen Rider figs(fingers crossed for RAH DX FangJoker 2.0) to show up afterwards sometimes... Sorry for the bother!

What does that even mean? If you want to prove that ANYTHING exists other than these three photos, then go ahead.

But you can't can you, you can't find ONE SINGLE PHOTO to prove your point. Not even anything taken after Wond's photos were uploaded. Nothing at all.

And rather than choose to accept you're wrong you go on a major butthurt rampage like the little retard you are. Well played, you classy fuckwit.
>>
>>5758628
It's impossible to prove for fuck sake. It was posted 6 fucking months ago, how the fuck do you want me to find pics that were posted in a six month old twitter stream? God you are retarded.
>>
>>5758652
>imlpying that twitter was the only place they would be posted

4chan, Taghobby, Myfigurecollection, those are only three sites right off the top of my head that like to repost shit that floats around online. You'd think breaking shots of Yuigoh revos would have made any one of those websites wouldn't you, instead of the ones that Wond posted up hours after the event had finished. But nope, nothing. Because those photos you speak of don't exist, and rather than just admit you're wrong you want to keep digging and digging like a fucking sperg.

Other websites would have taken those pictures and reposted them up elsewhere, like on Myfigurecollection or blog sites. Wond only posted the photos here and they went viral around the web, I don't see how any other source would have had any more difficulty doing so.

This isn't even about proving your original point anymore, this is me replying to someone I can't believe would want to put someone down so much that they just make shit up. What's your issue with him? Envious he gets to go to these events and you don't? Envious that people praise him as opposed to burn your ass for being a retard? Maybe you just want the D? Who the fuck knows.
>>
>>5758661
I saw them on a twitter stream and if Google Images didn't index them, it's pretty obvious they're not on Taghobby and MFC (and 4chan is a really stupid thing to mention since the archives are short as fuck).

On the "MUH EVERYONE IS USING WOND PICS" part : are you seriously telling me that you're dumb enough not to realize 99% of websites simply copy-paste each others? If the first big one to relay the information used Wond pics, of course all the others used them too. This is no rocket science.

>What's your issue with him?
I have no issue with him, I have issues with idiots like you and OP
>wondanon out of comission, what are we going to do?
Even if he was out the one who came with the Revo Yugioh news first, that would be ONE FUCKING REVEAL we would have missed. >There is a possibility we'll miss one fucking reveal, OMG, what are we gonna do?
I have issues with that shit. I have issues with dumbasses.

>Envious he gets to go to these events and you don't?
Sure, I'm mad I don't have to get up early on a weekend day, wait in a long as fuck line for hours then fight my way through greasy asians to have a look at stuff for a few seconds before I go for the next display. Instead of that, I can stay at home and simply look at the pic for as long as I want when I want to. I'm so envious. Also
>thinking someone wants to be in Japan
>ever
Confirmed for weeaboo.

>This isn't even about proving your original point anymore, this is me replying to someone I can't believe would want to put someone down so much that they just make shit up.
That's so retarded I won't reply anymore. Feel free to be wrong one more time and post another stupidity riddled message, you'll feel like you win and it'll confirm for sure those pics never existed and that some of us simply used our super powers to get visions of these figures which explains how we were able to discuss them on 4chan before Wond even left the con.

Kill la Kill is done and dusted, GSC doesn't really hold too long onto the flavour of the month stuff (I'm sorry if you really like the series but in GSC's eyes that's exactly what it is). This year will be a) long term estabished and popular series (like the Beserk stuff they are churning out) or whatever is airing this year (don't really keep up with recent animu so fuck knows what that would be)
>>
>>5759101
I've been in this hobby for years so I know how it goes, m8.

I still want it. Even if the chances are close to none, I'll keep hoping for it.
>>
>>5759094
At least you got a Satsuki.

Still desperately and aimlessly hoping for a Figma Simon/Kamina.
>>
>>5759101
We might have gotten more Kill la Kill figma had toy production not slowed down to a crawl because of the economy bullshit. The amount of money collectors in Japan have hasn't changed but the prices have went up 2-4x. So that means if they want any hope of actually selling enough units per release they need to space them out much further. That means flavor of the month stuff is going to get at best 1-2 releases and Satsuki was actually so far spaced out that she ended up selling poorly.

As for Berserk...fans of that are used to buying overly expensive statues from Art of War so it's pretty much going to keep getting releases forever. They will probably always sell well even when a movie or anime isn't running. There is no doubt Max Factory waited for this new anime to release before releasing the God Hand figma though. Hell, the companies involved who get a piece of the pie probably told them to wait since they've been sitting on prototypes forever.
>>
>>5759119
Wait a couple of years for whatever "anniversary" TTGL has, then you might get one.
>>
>>5759101

Honestly, 2 of the main characters is much better than most series get. What I wouldn't give for them to do MGS2 Revolver Ocelot or Raiden after the Russian merc soldier dude.
>>
>>5759126
I think you raised some valid points but I think a lot of what you mention is just assumption that us, the consumers make based on release/pricing trends. Like, in Japan it's not like anything outside of the toy industry has changed much in terms of pricing, other than the understandable increase due to the tax hike and annual inflation.

You know what my theory is? Collectors are getting burned out. When the big name lines started gaining traction around 2007, people bought left right and center because to be perfectly honest Figma, Figuarts et al were a big jump in the quality of current figures at the time, even in Japan, whose articulated offerings were pretty crude.

Then collections grow larger, people realise that when they have 200 figures in a cabinet they don't really get as much out of them as they thoguht they did, and their love for it somewhat dies out. They start selling off some of their shit, and become a lot more selective about what they buy henceforth.

I remember days when almost every figma that hit retail sold out.. .then only the really popular ones.. to now when like, pretty much any release figma save for some REALLY popular IPs sit on shelves long enough for anyone who wants it to get it stress free.

This is all purely speculation, but I got into figure collecting to the extent of what I could call a hobby about 10 years ago, and those that I have spoken to who have collected for as long as I have all feel the same way, both Japanese collectors and western ones.

I think the culture is changing, and the price rises don't help either.

Understandable or not the average collector is going to think twice before spending 8000 yen on a figure that would have been 3500 yen 3 years back.

That's a fair point I agree with. There is not nearly the level of awe and wonder with the advancements being made now because they aren't as large. Sure the 2.0 figma tech is nice and it DOES make Saber 2.0 and Motoko shit all over earlier figures but it's still a minor improvement. Same for the SHF Renewals with better proportions and more show accurate looks.

>Then collections grow larger, people realise that when they have 200 figures in a cabinet they don't really get as much out of them as they thoguht they did, and their love for it somewhat dies out.
Big collections are pure hell. Yeah it's nice to own some of this stuff but I hate having hundreds of figures. Barely even play with most of them.

>I remember days when almost every figma that hit retail sold out.. .then only the really popular ones.. to now when like, pretty much any release figma save for some REALLY popular IPs sit on shelves long enough for anyone who wants it to get it stress free.
Eh...they changed how they produce them. Instead of making a set amount then cutting off orders they allow pre-orders to decide how many to make at the factory. That's why shit gets delayed so heavily with figma now. It's also why figma Guts Berserker sold out FAST because it was a limited run.

LWA is more popular in the west than it is in Japan. Nobody in Japan talks about LWA, makes fanart of LWA, or anything of the sort.

The only japs that care about LWA is Trigger. It's sort of like their dream project.

I see plenty of love for LWA in the west, but in Japan its just crickets.

Take this as an example: If it was popular, it would have merchandise and fanart. It has neither of those things in Japan.

Don't get me wrong, I Love me some LWA, but Japan doesn't. It's far too old-formula for today's otaku to care about.

>Nobody in Japan talks about LWA, makes fanart of LWA, or anything of the sort.
It has fanarts in pixiv and a few doujins. But you're right when you say the west cares about it a lot more, becasue from what I understand the only people able to watch and care about LWA are those interested in animation and those that attend specific cons (remember, it started as a little animation project for the studio, nothing fancy. It didn't air on TV, some people don't even know it exists; there are plenty of short animation films made in Japan that only have a few screenings, some in specific places for short periods of time). Fans in the west know more about it because we get most of our anime through websites and torrents.

>>5759747
You are aware it takes time and money to produce an anime series, right? That it takes months to complete a single episode? They probably started storming off ideas years ago. It took Sushio a year and a half to come up with Ryuuko's final design for KLK. Obviously we didn't know shit about it till they were set on all the designs, voice actors, story points and all that. The anime was announced half a year before it started airing.
>>
>>5760793
>That it takes months to complete a single episode?
It doesn't.
>>
>>5760798
Nice opinion.
It takes weeks coming up with a decent soryboard for an episode. Now add all the keyframes being drawn, inbetweens, voice acting, colors for each individual frame, special effects, soundtrack, and I'm not even mentioning all the fixings need to be done. Surely this thing is a piece of cake.

Not really. Rule 2 was implemented from the beginning, I suppose because moot wanted to amuse himself by adding something so vague and irrelevant as "japanese figurine". This mean that stuff like that one piece figures with one or two articulations are allowed despite being pretty much statues, and pop or amiibos being perfectly valid because they aren't Japanese. But God forbids posting the newest Kotobukiya marvel figure, because the janitor will jump into your throat.

At this point, rule 2 exists pretty much to stir shit and trigger people just because someone else can, and will ruin someone's else fun. We're on 4chan after all.
>>
>>5762690
>-Another Guts figure
Pretty much a guarantee this will happen with an upcoming anime AND video game. They never did a Guts with the thigh or leg armor so I expect it to happen.
>-Expected release dates for the Godhand figmas indicated
Will probably be go up for pre-order this year or when the anime DVD/BD are released. I'm actually pretty certain at this point they will end up being limited edition exclusive pack in figures for the various anime disc releases. One God Hand PER disc release.
>>
>>5760793
>That it takes months to complete a single episode

I think that depends on the show and the studio. I certainly believe that for Trigger some of the time, but assuming it takes 2 months to make one episode, and KLK had 25 episodes, that would be 50 months, or about 4 years. Studio Trigger has only been around since 2011. I would assume they have multiple teams of animators or something of the sort to split up the work. So lets say we divide that by 3. A little more than a year to produce a 25 episode series. With some margin for error.

Also, LWA TV anime has been approved, the announcement said. We don't know for sure if production has already begun previous to the announcement.

We can't know for sure but assuming it's going to air next year I think it's very likely that they did -- actually I wouldn't be suprised if they started working on ideas the moment they were done with the second OVA.

We'll most definitely get them from Blizzard but they'll be just as shit as their HOTS/SC2/WOW figures.

Why are all Western figures such shit?
>>
>>5764425
>Why are all Western figures such shit?

Simple: They don't understand what makes a good figure. Look at the various Japanese figures, and you'll notice what they all have in common: Ridiculously good articulation, tons of paint, and tons of accessories.

Western figures usually go for one of the three at best, and usually sacrifice articulation the most, which is the most damning thing. Western sculptors also don't seem to know what the fuck a ball joint is and why they're so good, either.
>>
>>5764442

It isn't that they can't make very impressive products, they choose not to. Toys here are retail products. In order to get into Walmart and TRU they need to make sure they cost x amount both to them and to the chain. By now we've all seen the black series figures with expertly done paint, the sculpts are obviously there, but if they were to do that meticulous a job you can bet it wouldn't cost out. Neca is the most impressive I would say, they have great sculpts, great paint apps, and good articulation. Yes there is a ton of neca hate here and I would agree with that for a lot of their older efforts but their figures nowadays are very impressive in my opinion. Their new predators, their HotS figures, etc, are excellent examples of their combination of those 3 elements (hots a little less so but that's for the most part due to the bulky design of the characters)

Ball pegs are probably the most underrated point of articulation. They made beast wars figures feel way ahead of their time. I do agree some articulation practices (like ball peg abdomens vs ab crunch, though when Hasbro tried that about 7 years ago it was met with resistance for some readon) could be changed but things like ML and even neca's recent efforts in articulation are at least adequate.

>Toys here are retail products

And that thinking is where they fuck us. There is a huge collector market, and just as many collector shops online.

No one actually buying figures gives a fuck about Walmart or TRU's bottom line or retarded price point demands. People want top quality and excellence.

Sounds like you never owned any and ignored them until now, since their sculpts were always praised and known to be great for decades.

> There is a huge collector market
That collector's market isn't retail and has been around since McFarlane. Mezco, NECA, Palisades, DC Direct, etc have all been making collector quality toys for decades.

Regarding the black series, what are you talking about "for decades"? I was using those as examples, not saying they're the only ones. And you mean the sculpts have been great for decades in general? And what do you mean I don't own any? You seem to think I think they're bad when I was essentially defending western figures. I don't understand that whole point.

And there isn't just one group of collectors, the are many. To say collectors don't do retail is nonsensical. Marvel legends, transformers, star wars, hot wheels even, are all retail products that are, to at least some extent, aimed at collectors.

The companies you listed have for a very long time focused on sculpts and made essentially or literally statues. I would say they made beautiful looking sculpts but if we're including articulation as an important part of figures then that's where they were lacking. They've made recent strives at upping the ante with articulation and other innovations like mezco with one:12. DCC is even trying to do high end movie collectibles figures. I'm curious how those will turn out and how well they'll do.

From the sound of your post, you're ignoring the fact that there are two seperate markets in the west (just as there is in the east) and that we've been getting collector qualities in retail toys since the mid-90s when actual collector toys started being made (or became a thing?).
Here's a children's toy, almost fully painted, with a ton of articulation, very poseable, and excellent sculpt. These features are something you don't see on many ACTUAL collector toys today.

>made essentially or literally statues.
oh please.
Ball joints everywhere or equivalent articulation has been found on all of the collector figures for years and years, yet your hyperbole is probably with the view that if it doesn't have ankle rockers it's statueshit.

I'm beyond confused. This makes no sense. I'm agreeing with you for the most part so I don't get why you seem hostile as if I'm attacking the western action figure market. And how can you say that McFarlane wasn't almost exclusively known for his statues? Early neca also more or less made statues with a few poa at times. It isn't like I mentioned toybiz or modern neca or modern DCC or even recent McFarlane (though they're now going back to mostly statues, which despite cut joints you can't call action figures). Like I said they're mostly all making strives to a more serious collector environment, adding more details, paints, articulation, just that some, like Hasbro, are limited due to their retail partners, and they choose to cut certain corners to get that product out at a price that ideally everyone is happy with.

it's subjectanon, he's intentionally glib and disingenuous in order to goad everyone into some kind of retarded circular argument that goes nowhere. He does it all the time, and it's just tiresome,
The only way to win is to ignore him. He's the embodiment of an autistic internet argument.

I'm almost certain it will. Bandai left a void of Rockman figures and people are hungry for more, so Sentinel can ride this license for a while.

As for who's next in the line, I'm guessing it's either an .EXE style change or a Blues.
