Could be cool if the rest of the transformers had this style to them. Everything is just a mess of metal that doesn't look like it can turn into anything.

Look at this shit. How does it turn into that truck? You can't even see how it fights Optimus in the first movie. I like the idea of a lanky armed brute with a scorpion tail and roller skates, but those elements are lost in a sea of brown metal shards.

Pacific Rim's robots where piloted mechs, though. Not living beings. They where mean to look basic and nostalgic. Del toro loves doing unique living beings and creatures, so imagine if he was doing designs for actually living robots that can transform, I think he'd do something different. not necessarily shard bots like the Bay movies, more like the more stylized niche stuff we occasionally see in the franchise.

Anyway, here is one of my all time favorite story-less character purchases. He's one of the bad guys in my fanfic, but I love him so much that he's not gonna be a bad guy for long!

Just got my deluxe Groove from Amazon today.

Good thing I'm not a collector of MiB figures, as they shoved the toy's package in a box that was just sliiiightly too small for it, thus all the sides were mangled when I opened it (not even any wrap or paper either). Would have been pissed if I paid any of the scalping prices for it, but luckily I got the 16 dollar deal.

You know, with the whole knight theme Bay tried to shove in the newer movies, you think we might get Star Saber or Silverbolt somewhere down the line?
Would be cool to see fuzors or legendary creatures like a chimera, cerberus, griffon, winged unicorn or even good old dragon for the knights, but the sleeker look doesn't seem like it would translate well into transforming toys.

Felt the opposite. The antagonists of 3 were better than Fallen and that there was at least one fight scene between the autobots and decepticons that did not involve Optimus Prime, megatron, Bumblebee or the humans (Ironhide and Sideswipe VS Dreads), as well as adapting some parts of the G1 episodes into the movie.

Also less orange and lesser college sex references and Wheelie got tazered into being more bearable.

It's more that the movies shove so much shit in your face that it's almost impossible to keep up with the story. They keep devolving into slice of life comedies with masturbation jokes and gay panics in the middle of the film. The stakes are also nonexistent since the villains are rarely developed and the motivations are weak as shit and not given any time to be noticed.

It takes a while to get everything all together though.

Source: I own a NotPredaking. Getting everyone into limb/body mode, the gun, and the sword set up takes a while compared to, say, snapping a CW combiner together. It's not a bad experience either, just theres a lot of bits to keep track of, but they're simple enough.

Well, superion went on sale, only few months back did he finally run out, hobby stock ran out first went they (superion and menasor) both went on sale, think it was like 7000yen or some crazy shit, then amiami.

Basically what I'm saying is superion sold more than menasor and sold out faster, but it was slow enough to end up at one of hlj's sales, but because computron has a shittone of retoolings I believe there is a chance it may sell out.

The one thing I liked that was consistent for most of the 1-3 designs is that they had the vehicle parts in robot mode, made them look and feel unique.
