Hey anons i recieved my killer queen yesterday and something wrong with its right toe.
The right joint cant bend as far or close, as the left, infact it can only bend like 30ish degrees, and when i look from the side i see a metal piece(?) that i think is the hinge. Is it broken or is it loose?

Don't have a Killer Queen in-hand (it's back at my house), but sometimes the articulation may be asymmetrical. See if it's just the toe hitting the skull piece that's in front of the foot or another part of the sculpt or something.

Seeing the metal hinge is normalish, since I have a few figs where I can see the metal hinge and it operates just normally.
Medicos' toe joint system is kind of shit in my opinion.

Not a fan of either. Looks like my wallet is safe. Yellow was a terrible, terrible choice.

Not fully flat, its other toe has like a bent sole just sticking out. Its hard to see because its on the inside but i cant bend that far compared to the other toe and i can see that one metal peg in the pic unlike the other toe.

Because of GSC making the call or maybe the licencing cost. I think freeing are doing the Godhand and their Silent Hill Figmas are pretty good. They just need to take advantage of the new anime with a new Guts taking advantage of the new face printing to better design the face.

And my oldest fight display since I got into this line. Sadly the arm supporting the Muda Muda plate snapped so I had to swap out for an SAS stand I had sitting around. Also I originally had The World 2nd setup but I used him for a Blue villain display I have going on so I may swap Awakened Dio 2nd for either regular Awakened Dio or WF Dio just for the color pop and contrast.

For now it seems as though they are being made to order, so it all depends on how many orders they receive.

In terms of aftermarket price, I'm unsure. It definitely won't fetch as much as the others do due to notn being as limited. I can either see it going for around 150% so around 70k, or just floating around it's retail cost. Not really sure.

There's Joseph from Part 2 but Part 2 in general do benefit a lot with their sculpt for articulation barring Caesar.

Star Platinum Part 4 is my personal favorite since Medicos updated his sculpt and gave him a fantastic upgrade to his general articulation though he lacks Star Finger and only comes with that piece of wood from the Kira/Sheer Heart Attack fight.

His main feature can't hold a pose, it can't even be put in more than two or so poses, and it doesn't do those well.

Everything is loose, and even the stand can't hold the weight of just the torso of the figure.

This figure feels like they went out in the last phase of manufacturing this to make it the shittiest it can be.

If this was my first experience with SAS figures, I wouldn't even bother looking at anything else Medicos produces. Luckily, I know they CAN do better.

Doing the OP pose for Josuke is a pain and you may need to search for a better hand.

It is a good figure, but you're shelling out extra for all wheelchair he has. Keep in mind that the box is pretty big to carry it if shipping is a big deal in your region. I really like it and think it is one of the best 1/12 wheelchairs around too.

Part 5 Polnareff is really on model for Vento Aureo's art style so he also looks way more FABULOUS and almost like a completely new character. He goes from tiny head on the part 3 SAS to giant head on the part 5 one.

That's not how prices are determined. It's based on the factory deal made at the time which factors in the strength of the yen at that point in time. In other words...Ajin was negotiated at a time when things were better and thus he was cheaper. Meanwhile White Snake and Giorno Second are based on current rates which suck ass.

Fun fact: If they had just re-released pink Giorno again the prices would be lower due to the older contract still being in effect. This is why all the re-releases are cheaper than the repaints. This is also why Legacy of Revoltech cost more because there is new joint use involved which causes contract renegotiation to trigger.

I think Medicos went the easier route for Shinichi's arms for the swappable extended arm accessory instead of engineering the double jointed system they use for everyone else. I'm looking at a KQ I took apart who has the double jointed arm versus Shinichi and the only benefit I see is losing out on a elbow piece that would probably pop off or get lost somehow if you kept swapping out his regular arm for the extended one.

I'm at chapter 30 of part 8 and thinking of getting these two, is the quality any good on the SAS?

Gappy's face is considered to be not that good, and many are hoping for a better sculpt.

S&W is seen as being fairly badly articulated compared to how it could be.

Soft and Wet is a pretty limited figure for articulation so you have to work a little differently with him versus other SAS's with ab crunches and double jointed arms and legs.

Josuke is the better half but his face really divides people since Medicos sort of pushed him and S&W out instead of waiting to better sculpt the face. Articulation is standard and the lower part of his shirt actually moves around a little for specific poses. Also he has a nice array of accessories even though they are based around the Daiya chapter and when he eats the moichi's Yashuo gives him.

Thankfully they are pretty cheap. I usually see both at 2500 or so. Just don't expect S&W to do really dynamic posing anytime soon.

I own over a dozen SAS figures, and Gappy is one of my least favorites. Felt like a waste of a release, giving him the SAS treatment so early into Jojolion. Only having accessories up to his fight with Daiya. My biggest complaint is that he doesn't really feel like Gappy to me. Way too lanky and the hair should be darker.
