>not glorious 1/18
Why???????
Regretting not jumping on this so hard. I decide to sleep on it and now completely regret losing out.
>>5739863
I'm saving right now for whats to come.
>>5740357
The regret of missing out is always worse than the regret of buying. You will probably never see it at that low of a prices, especially will the yens value going back up .
>>5739848
Wait what really?
I'm impressed, yet worried as well. It's a PlaMax, Max Factory's new model kit line.
I'm working on one of their (relatively) early kits, a 24th Unit Roundfacer from Dougram (also nice seeing a new Combat Armor in the case), and some of the connections and seams are a tad less than whelming. Granted I've been spoiled by Bandai for a long time now.
>>5739848
This is good news for modelers but the vf-1 is not a real aircraft. Where are they going to find enough detail to justify a 1/20 scale, just make it up?
Give me the 1/35 chogokin bandai..
>>5740610
That's an odd loadout on the vf-0 anon
>>5740357
Wave is making a kit of the VF-4 plane mode
So you can get the best part of the VF-4 for less
>>5739848
Wait. This isn't a 1/20 super dimensional fortress macross capital ship?
>>5740335
If it was big enough to put Joes and other figures in, you might have fun. There are multiple laws of thermodynamics designed specifically to keep that from happening.
Hope preorders for the Hikaru VF-1J go up again..
Just a recommendation, use a pic of an interesting macross toy in the next OP. I appreciate the news but the current pic is super-bland and difficult to spot in the catalog.
Any chance someone's got a V2 movie version 1/60 Super Parts right leg armor they can sell me? Even a freaking recast would be fine at this point.
Can't read, is this an exclusive again?
>>5749064
Doesn't show the web shop logo anywhere, and the Max'n'Millia duo is popular enough to probably warrant being released normally.
>>5739848
I only came here because of Cherno
would it have been possible for me to find a macross figure on the shelves when i was a little kid in the US? Most likely at KB Toys or something like that? Because I saw a post pic related on another board and I swear it reminds me of something I had when I was a kid. Also what's my best way to go about procuring one the these, everything that comes up when i search Orguss Orgroid on ebay is MIB & expensive.
>>5749064
says 発売日. That should indicate sale date.
If it says 発送, then it means delivery, which would be Tamashii Web Shop.
So no, it is a regular release.
>>5750127
Depending on which version you want , but they are expensive . You can get the old one in your pic brand new for around $120 or you can preorder the reissue one from mega house for over $250.
Has anybody gotten their payment request for Bandai's VF-31J?
The Hi-Metal R VF-1A is back up for pre-order as of this post.

Thanks, anon. Got my order in.
>>5750219
Anon when you do get it you better tell us how much color separation the parts have. I want to know how much of a sticker fest it'll be.
>>5750973
There are images of the runners up already.
>>5750981
Yikes, that's worse than I thought. I think I'll pass on the model kit.
>>5751133
Pussy.
>>5750165
What about pre-owned and in good shape? I don't really need the box or anything. As long as it's all there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B11rn_rXK8
Straight build, no paint, only decals. Outside of the unpainted pilots and landing gear it looks nice.
>>5750127
>would it have been possible for me to find a macross figure on the shelves when i was a little kid in the US? Most likely at KB Toys or something like that?
It depends on when you were a kid.
In the 80's Matchbox was making Robotech toys including a Veritech, Cyclones, figures (I have a few) etc. at 1/18. In the 90's there were some Robotech toys made under the Exo Squad line like the Destroids and Zentraedi pods.
>>5755906
The matchbox stuff was pretty good IMO if a little delicate. The smaller destroid figures were some of my favorites
>>5757512
Any word on if it needs a brace for battroid like the yf 31?
>>5757585
>yf 31
Oops
I mean yf 30
>>5757585
>>5757590
Nothing yet but the VF-31 model kit came out recently and it has no brace. Considering the cockpit was slightly tweaked from the YF-30 I think it was designed so it doesn't need the brace any longer.
>>5755851
Messer confirmed for October, maybe they're waiting for the replacement pilot to show
>>5751971
it will be in ebay, just start hunting, and ask all the questions in the world before bidding and buying.
Reviews are starting to come in for the 1/72 kit. It has an actual waist swivel joint which is impressive considering past designs couldn't have one.
Good leg articulation.
It does have a few flaws unfortunately. Hands need to be swapped out when transforming to gerwalk or battroid, the arm rail guns need to be removed for gerwalk and battroid although I'm not 100% sure, and the landing gear are no integrated into the model itself.
>pic related
I thought I was "lucky" to get that vf-1a when the pre-order button opened up again but seems like they got shitloads in, either that or people jumped shipped to the 1J hikaru because I'm still waiting for that to open.
Destroid Monster went locked unlocked and locked again and good old glaug is still in stock, if given long enough it may end up in one of hlj's sales.
I should be happy about the 1J seeing how I have the armored valkarie and being a robotech fag I'm fine repurposing but I get a sense of emptiness, unless a review shows it being much more pure white or something I have no need to get this even with the new cover for battroid mode.
But I fear max's I NEED to get because its....blue, oh boy
>>5761009
I'm rather surprised that the VF1A has remained open myself. I'm also going to camp out for Bandai Day to get that Max VF1J because if the magazine scans are accurate it's an amazingly pretty shade of blue. And Millia's has an amazing shade of red as well.
Well, that and Figuarts Sassy-One Kenobi and the Iron Man mk 3.
What size/scale are the Hi-Metal R Valks? I really want Max's VF after finishing Macross yesterday, but not sure if I'm willing to spend 9500 yen on it if it's small.
>>5761380
It's 1/100 scale.
>>5761380
I needed am excuse to post, if inches isn't any good just ask
>>5761429
Pretty good. Much better than the older Hi-Metal models. It's even better when you have the short wings on.
>>5761429
The fact mine was 12,000 being a limited release made it worse when you think about it (it was 10,000 but shipping you know?)
Anyway its not too bad for the most part, but I wasn't able to make him hold the rifle straight on so he'd be firing forwards, he'll be forever be firing sideways or as I had posted just at the ready.
>>5761439
From what I seen and read apart from some more diecast joints (which ham hands can still fuck with) they seem pretty much the same, I know they have the same exact transformation sequence.
But I don't have any of the older ones, most of a macross 1.100 I handled before was the horrible toynami which broke in my hands as soon as I handled it gently out of the box.
>>5761454
It was already confirmed they will. 2500 yen I think.
>>5761456
The old VF-1 HM suffered from floppy feet and weak shoulder joints with the new Revival line fixed.
>>5761471
>floppy feet
What were they made out of on those?
HMR is diecast
>weak shoulder joints
Diecast again on HMR, this one I knew about but when I first handled it (after coming off transformers) I swear they were bending like a gymnast, sure made me think twice before "testing" articulation.
But fuck the old ones were plastic right, they would of snapped on me here
>>5761478
The old HM feet were still made out of diecast but for whatever reason they were known to be extremely loose and the old HM shoulder joints were made of plastic which wasn't so bad at first but they started to show stress marks after a few transformations.
>>5761499
Ouch, glad I didn't bother to track those down.
Hi-Metal when? I can't be the only one who's sick of seeing VF-1's being milked endlessly.
>>5761631
We got a Hi-Metal Fire Valkyrie and Blaze Valkyrie before. We should get a VF-17 someday. I suppose it depends on how well the HMR line will do. I'm worried all these VF-1 retools are going to kill the line.
>>5761651
>'m worried all these VF-1 retools are going to kill the line.
Macross fans will buy any number of variations on a Valk. I'm more worried Bandai will get fixated on SDF stuff and won't move onto other series.
>>5761674
Considering that the original Hi-Metal line died when they started releasing a ton of VF-1 variations I'd be worried. But at least we have Zentran machines this time. Variety is always nice.
>>5761730
Quality was also crap. I think that had a lot to do with it.
>~35000 yen

>>5764796
back kibble is lazy as fuck but at least the jet looks nice.
>>5764796
>>5764849
Yeah, it would have been nice if these era of Valkyries at least tried to fold up their backpacks/wings a little more.
The Messiah, IMO, was just lazy with the wings not folding all the way onto themselves. The Lucifer is even worse with its big lump of plastic parts hanging off its back but it kinda has an excuse because of its extra boosters.
But I can't deny that I love the general design of their bodies.
>>5764796
It's a fun toy don't let the kibble ruin it for you.

>>5765372
No you
>>5765349
I got Rod's but I basically had to get one of the mold after I saw that the wings and cannons telescope.
I can't stop messing with it.
>>5764509
I wonder if we'll get Hi-metal Rs of these. Will probably be exclusives though.
>>5766092
I could see Bandai doing it. I'd rather see VF-31 HMRs though.
>>5766272
>I'd rather see VF-31 HMRs though.
Same. As fussy as it sounds, all the current options we have for the VF-31 aren't very appealing to me: Two sticker-fest models, two non-transforming and a super expensive DX Chogokin on the way...
1/100 scale seems to be a perfect middle ground between affordable and functional, yet the HMR line barely gets any use so far.
>>5766090
Yeah it's basically the best parts of the VF-25 with a lot of really great gimmicks.
>>5766294
I really don't like the proportions for the Tomytec model either. The torso is too small.
>>5765229
> The Lucifer is even worse
The 27 gets a pass in my book. at least the wings actually fold/roll up and become more compact. It's much better than the 'eh fuck it' backpacks we've been getting with no end in sight.
>>5766332
The wings actually do fold up a bit on the official CG model but Bandai didn't implement it into the toy design. And at least the Draken doesn't have the big backpack you don't like.
>>5766337
At any rate it doesn't look like we'll be seeing a return to the practical, clean silhouettes of the early valks anytime soon.
low-viz draken when?
>>5766346
I'd say that's a good thing. Kawamori has done the folded wings behind the legs thing for a long time now. And the newer designs are kind of more practical when you think about it. They have more clearance for the missiles while in battroid mode. The older VFs like the VF-1 and VF-11 needed to open the wings in battroid mode if they had missiles on and that limits arm articulation. Not to mention it looks strange.
So I just learned about the Hi-Metal R line and was wondering if it'd be entirely possible to mod a tiny LED into the Battroid's head/visor?
Also, any indications they might do Max & Millia's VF-22S? Or it's just going to be the VF-1JS?
>>5766399
>the newer designs are kind of more practical when you think about it.
Yes and no, but mostly no. The entire point of building a jet with battroid mode in the first place was to navigate and use environments and equipment made for giant aliens with human proportions. The battroid mode also offered additional protection since thrust power was diverted to the armor.
Newer valks don't have any reason for the battroid mode to exist. They're too bulky and kibbly to fit into zentran or meltran doorways or cockpits and they don't get an armor boost from battroid mode anymore.
There are dozens of shows featuring busy, gaudy mecha with bits hanging off them everywhere. What made the vf-1 so good was taking a ridiculous concept but making it believable and practical kind of like patlabor and the av-98 ingram.
>>5766485
>and they don't get an armor boost from battroid mode anymore.
Uh yeah they do. Energy conversion armor still exists with newer Valkyries. Just because they have the pinpoint barriers doesn't mean they did away with ECA. And the newer machines can fight in close quarters just fine. The wings can flatten if need be.
>>5766515

>>5766519
Welp, Amiami and hobbysearch's stock of Max's VF1 got taken up instantly.

I thought Siegfried was going up this month?
>>5766548
I think that's on the 7th or something.
>>5766543

>>5766542

>>5766602

Meh missed out on Max, oh well
Good thing I never really cared for the character too much and he doesn't do anything really important in the movie outside of hook up with an alien

>>5768773
yuck
>>5768773
I wonder if they come out and transform individually.
>>5761730
the line died because there were too many cheap Yamato 1/60 on the market at the time.
why pay around the same price for a 1/100 when you can get a better 1/60 for just a bit more instead. It's not the same this time around.
>>5772414
A model? That gap between the calf and the rear fuselage isn't supposed to be there, what gives?
>>5766606
there's a very high chance she will be a web exclusive that comes with a stand. So you wont have to worry about preordering. It's just that her price will have no discount and that with the free stand comes with extra weight and boxes so your shipping will be double. lol
her price will probably be around 10,000 yen
>>5773705
Hey if she comes with stands for her and Max I'd be down for it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WR5_M4jIb4
>>5773705
They'd be rolling in gold if both were online exclusives.
Why one but not the other, why not a twin pack, why even at all?
>>5776951
I was honestly expecting a two-pack.But if Max is a regular release I'd imagine Millia is going to be also. There's a good chance it'll be web only still, and if it does I'd imagine it'll include custom stands for it and Max, but there's also a good chance it'll be regular release.
Who knows, Bandai is weird now with what does and doesn't get a web release.
Any idea when the DX chogokin VF-31 goes up?

>>5784057
So close, Bandai. But the armor on the arms and the reaction missiles are DYRL style. How fucking hard is it to just make an entire VF-1 in TV style?
I think even Yamato never released TV-style reaction missiles. What's the malfunction?
>>5784873
These is for DYRL
>>5784965
Did they even fly the red and blue vf-1j's in DYRL? From memory they replaced them with red and blue Q-raus for the movie.
>>5785639
yes there is a quick scene
>>5785656
Really? Got any screencaps?
Those are definitely TV hands.
Anyway it looks like bandai want to change a few things even if it's not accurate. AFAIK the paint scheme on the leg super packs isn't correct.
This isn't a big deal, yet. Hopefully bandai don't apply this relaxed attitude to accuracy when the 2-seaters come out. They really should be 3 subtly different molds but if bandai just slap 2-seater colors on the default mold I won't be surprised either.
>>5785715
>AFAIK the paint scheme on the leg super packs isn't correct.
It is accurate to about 2 seconds of footage from the big battle. And given how carefully it seems to be drawn and colored compared to the other moments we see M&M with fast packs, I suspect it might be the only 2 seconds it was colored the way it was really intended.
But who knows? And anyway, nostalgia is probably more important than accuracy to most.
>>5786195
I honestly like the extra paint. It helps the FAST Packs stand out rather than just blending into the body colors of the fighter.
>>5786223
Agreed.
>>5785715
What's the difference between TV hands and movie hands?
>>5786223
but then they should have added a bit of that grayish white on the Arms too. instead of all blue or red.
>>5786377
tv hands are puffy, (Micky mouse)
DRYL movie hands are normal mecha hands (sharp straight edged, square)
>>5786380
Naw. The arm armor is too small and simple to warrant a color variation like the larger fastpack parts. Giving them some light grey would just be gratuitous and gimmicky. Bandai chose rightly there.
>>5784256
They are making special graphic stands for Max and Millia. Max's stand will be included with his normal release.
They are still working on Millia's.
i have an arcadia vf-0a 1/60 and a arcadia vf-1j 1/60. can anyone explain to me why the vf-0 is so much bigger than the vf-1 while they are both 1/60 scale? is it supposed to be that much bigger?
>>5787625
Forgot a pic
>>5787630
yes its a prototype now fuck off
>>5787636
i understand the zero is a prototype but dont you think they would keep the size fairly similar seeing that they both are modeled after the same jet? now you fuck ON
>>5787625
From plus/seven onwards the valks got bigger possibly to make them closer in size to irl planes, the vf-1 is tiny compared to the f-14 and the vf-0 corrects this.
>>5787625
VF-1 was too small to be believable, even if it was powered by a reactor. About the size of an F-16.
VF-0 uses powerful jet turbines for its powerplants, so it's size is more in line with large twin-engine jets like the F-14.
>>5787533
>thanks for the cap.
No problem.
>>5787644
NO. The prototype is larger because it is an early attempt, the Vf-1 is the next step, resulting in a smaller, more maneuverable aircraft. It no longer needs to be large because they advanced it. Do you really need someone to spell it out for you? Are you honestly this fucking retarded?
>>5787881
Okay you obviously angry person tell me why the yf-19 and vf-25 got bigger? By your statements they should have gotten smaller.
>>5787922
They are different aircraft, holy shit. Are you this daft? Perhaps they wanted to shift towards larger bots/planes. That's like asking why one current real world aircraft is larger than its predecessor, except here you are asking for information from a fictional universe that has never even actually addressed the change in size. So, given that, what the fuck are you expecting for an asnwer? Because I sure as hell am not going to write up some fan fiction for a fucking retarded teenager.
>>5786979
> Max's stand will be included with his normal release
So the one I got from amiami is coming with a flight stand?
VF-31 painted up like Isamu's YF-19
Hello /toy/, /m/ here. It's not strictly related but I wanna buy a transforming Legioss (or Veritech Alpha Fighter for those who watched Robotech) toy or plamo. What are your experiences with them ? I'm just dreamin' here, but Origin of Valkyrie style reissues of the Gakken 1/35th Legioss and 1/8th ride armor, all painted up properly and covered in tampoed markings, would be endless kickass.

shouldn't you be on habbo or some other shit site for you foreigners?
>>5812316
Some people just seem really dedicated to getting mad about toys and toy preferences.
The VF-1 is pretty janky, I can kind of understand not liking it compared to the more complex transformations of more modern valkyries. Still no reason to get mad, it's not as if the dude is being an asshole about saying he doesn't like it.
People falling for the low effort trolling just kills me, all the same. Like the dumb shits flailing over the gundam post.
Huh, no photos of that VF 31 girl...
Hope they didn't can it.
Arcadia battle 7.
So... SDF-1 rerelease when?
>>5813256
Hoooo-ly SHIIIIIIIT!!!
Never thought I'd see the day the best Macross battleship would get a toy and it is an absolutely glorious sight to behold.
Day 1 pre-order.
>>5813277
It's 3dlabs though.
So it's tiny.
>>5813256
If it's not 1:3000 sadly I probably won't get this.
anything besides 1:3000 makes no sense.
>>5813286
Oh. How tiny specifically do you think?
>>5813305
Compared to the sign used for it, pretty tiny.
Honestly might be around the same size as the megahouse SDF-1
>>5813318
Also, because it's 3DLab, the thing's 3d printed.
Hopefully they make a bigger, better one...
>>5813318
Ah, that's a bit of a bummer. So it likely won't be able to transform either. Oh well, still pretty happy to see Battle 7 finally getting a toy even if it is cheaply made.
>>5813341
I'm happy for you anon. Now you too can pose your Battle 7 shooting straight up into the sky.
>>5813181
Was looking forward to that too, I thought she had a release date (December?) floating around too.
Hi guys. I'm out of the loop so could anyone tell me if there is any information or rumor about an Arcadia 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru rerelease? I preordered the Roy rerelease coming out in august and I'd like to get both.
>>5813341
>So it likely won't be able to transform either
I'm not so sure. Notice how the bridge is sitting on a track going from the side of the hull to the middle.
>>5755851
The stickers/decals on this thing suck balls.
>>5813256
This ain't 1/20 scale!
You lied to me OP
>>5816214
Wow thats exactly what we all wanted
A fucking doll with restrictive clothing
Bravo
>>5816214
I legit feel sorry for Robotech fans. Almost anyway.
>>5816214
>harmony gold
Nope. No money for you.
Dolls eh? HG getting back to robotechs roots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhqfdpIkXKA
>>5816214
I hope this ends with them being as garbage as everything else they've done or worse.
>>5817900
As far as toys go, the mecha are the stars of the show. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a doll of any macross character and I sure as shit wouldn't give any money to hg.
Being toynami it'll probably suck just like everything else they've ever put out.
>>5817912
This. It's a Toynami product so chances are it arrives broken in the package and the joints will crack after a short while.
Finally broke down and bought myself the GN-U YF-21. Was this a mistake? I'll know for sure depending on what Bandai decides to release for the next Hi-Metal toy!
>>5818188
Depends how much you paid for it. It's a fun little figure for the price.
>>5817939
>Toynami
I thought this was being made by Kids Logic?
>>5819917
It is
>>5819922
Toynami did all the previous dolls and there's nothing similar to it on toys-logic.com so I just assumed.
http://tamashii.jp/special/macross/vf-31/
Is there a set of macross figures that are the same scale but just have the different modes (gerwalk, battroid)?
I can't shell out $200 each transforming figures.
>>5821846
You could just get a smaller transforming figure. The Hi-Metal VF-1 figures are really good and not overwhelmingly expensive.
http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51985352.html
>>5822031
Good lord, I can't fucking wait.
GOOD GOD THE SIZE OF THIS THING.
I thought it'd be around the same size as the koenig and was willing to make a compromise on the scale but that's clearly not the case!
>>5824910
Do a Dalong cigarette box comparison for those of us that don't own either~
>>5824910
Is it 1/100?
>>5825065
Approximately. Both are nonscale.
>>5825065
>Viggers/Centinental HWR-00 Monster Mk II
Dimensions: height 22.46 meters; length 41.0 meters
>Hi-Metal R HWR-00-MKII Destroid Monster
>Height: approx 230mm.
Full length: approx 400mm.
Yes. It it 1/100th scale.
so how fast does the DX Chogokin vfs sell out when they get up for preorders?
VF-31 goes up on august 1 but I wonder if they will go puff instantly
last thing I managed to preorder was the metal robot damashii Ex-S gundam and I can attest the preorder window lasted 15 minutes
>>5825202
I'm working late Saturday night but I'm going to try my hardest to be checking places around 2 or 3 in the morning to get an order in. I don't expect it to be up long at all.
>>5809368
>being this buttmad
Geez. You guys can't take a joke.
I know these are called macross and that voltron is a megazord.
>>5825202
They usually sellout within minutes so have fun mashing F5.
>>5825202
Speaking of Delta DXs, does this mean Bandai will make a VF-22 DX since it technically appears in Delta?
>>5825612
Since we already have a 1/60 scale VF-22 I'd much rather Bandai get off their asses and finish up the prototype Hi-Metal they showed off years ago.
>>5825750
I doubt it. Bandai is really pushing the HMR line as SDF and DYRL only. Until they realize they can't milk the VF-1 mold any longer.
>>5825793
>Bandai is really pushing the HMR line as SDF and DYRL only.
But they've recently shown hmr prototypes for the vf-2ss and vf-4?
>>5825879
that yf-21 is from years ago and was never publicly displayed afaik. The Hmr vf-2 and vf-4 were recent and displayed with much fanfare.
>>5825899
And the VF-2 and VF-4 were shown in a private room at a toy fair where photos weren't allowed as opposed to the YF-21 that was shown in a magazine alongside the other Hi-Metal toys.
>>5825990
Putting on a physical public display at a show demonstrates far more resolve than emailing 3 jpegs to a magazine.
>>5825612
Now that macross is a business I'd be very surprised if the vf-22 did not appear in toy form. Bandai run the show now and they don't randomly put mecha on screen that they don't plan to sell a toy of. This was the entire reason for the YF-19, oops sorry I mean "VF-19 advance" cameo in that frontier movie.
>>5825996
Macross has always been a business. Why do you think DYRL had new livery and the Strike Packs? So they could sell new toys of per-existing molds. But yes there's probably a good chance we'll get a toy of the NUNS VF-22.
>>5826001
>Why do you think DYRL had new livery and the Strike Packs? So they could sell new toys of per-existing molds.
Some paint changes and a minor alteration to the accessories is literally new-hat tier and perfectly normal for a movie version of a tv-series in any media, genre or era. To suggest that they're all blatant cash-grabs is absurd.
What IS an absurd, blatant cash grab is Isamu and his completely irrelevant toy-license loophole exploiting valkyrire randomly appearing out of nowhere because the company making the toy is now the shows biggest sponsor.
>Macross has always been a business.
Utterly ridiculous. How many of the macross 7 mecha got toys at the time? Two? out of more than a dozen? How many macross 2 mecha got toys when it came out? How many Plus mecha had toys when that came out? Zero?
You clearly haven't thought this through. Frontier was the first show to fuse the toy/model department with the production of the show.
>>5826066
>How many of the macross 7 mecha got toys at the time?
1/144 kits, 1/100 kits, gashapon figures, plushes, the 1/65 DX toys. The only reason Zero, Plus, and 2 didn't get many is because they weren't as popular. The DX VF-25 toys didn't even come out until a YEAR after the show ended.
>>5826069
You've lost the argument and now you're just being obtuse and outright lying. The vf-25 dx launched in 2008, the same as frontier and they showed prototypes LONG before that.
There's a massive difference between companies releasing extremely limited merchandise for a show (sdf, plus, 2, zero, 7) and the toy manufacturer producing the show, probably dictating what mecha appear based on what they want to sell (frontier, delta)
>>5826083
Bandai didn't produce the show, they sponsored. Same as they did with 7. Now you're lying out your ass saying they produced it.
To reiterate.
THIS THING IS FUCKING HUGE.
>>5826139
Is english not your first language? I mean produce as in movie producer obviously. Sponsors are sometimes credited as producers.
VF-31J drops in 30 minutes.
>>5830522
shit's gone from amiami
>>5830582
I got mine.
HLJ is the worst it's ever been right now.
>>5830592
HAH
>>5830601
Keeps booting me out at the log in. Furthest I got on a try was the payment screen. It'll clear, I just gotta keep pushing it.
>>5830592
HLJ is shitting the bed so hard right now
got mine too.
Amiami though. Ami's prices have been taking a beating lately.
I may consider starting to move over most of my orders to hlj from now on..
>>5830609
Nippon-Yasan has the best prices, but the moment I opened it, the damn thing is already not available. Still managed to secure one from amiami.
I think I'm giving up. I've never seen HLJ's servers so fucked and I've done Bandai day there for three years straight
>>5830641
It was open for more than 30 minutes. It looks like people who got theirs within the first 10-15 minutes will be guaranteed their orders. This happened before during the VF-25S reissue and YF-29 Alto reissue.
HLJ ended up cancelling a good amount of orders since they can't keep up.
Holy shit mine just went through. I had the thing in my cart for 50 minutes and it finally got through all the stages after a billion tries.
Did it really took 50 min to place my order with HLJ? Damn. I assume the order of priority goes to who completed the order first, not when it went into cart.
>>5830650
You'd think Bandai would just, y'know, make more fucking planes.
>>5830662
They are not that hard to get in person at the bigger stores in Japan, so there is really no reason to.
>>5830661
My order with HLJ just came through. It was in the cart for 50 minutes, mostly because I can't sign in. I doubt I'll get it though, since it was 20 minutes after they closed it. Still yet to receive a confirmation letter.
>>5830661
I wouldn't worry. In my history with HLJ, getting an order in on the first night is a guaranteed fill. They always put up less preorders than they have stock and then reopen the preorders a bit later once they've confirmed how many pieces they're getting. The problem is that they usually leave the second window open a bit too long.
I've never bought one of these Chogokins off of them though so it may be a bit different than every other item they sell. These don't come around often.
>>5830668
Macross pre-orders are a pain in the fucking ass. Everything else is fair game.
>>5830669
Saint Seiya stuff too I imagine.
This is a good sign.
>>5830641
Bandai day? No, this is MACROSS day.
This is pretty normal for Dx chogokin Macross preorders, it jams and crashes everything.
Weird. A bandai preorder window opened and there aren't any rage posts.
>>5830734
>mfw I preordered the vf-31 and the blue frame
Any hopes of grabbing that VF-31J later on? Or should I just hope for recolours?
>>5830906
you are fucked
>>5830906
Camp Mandarake on release. Might get it at MSRP.
>>5830906
They'll probably do a rerelease. There'll also be a couple recolours but they might be exclusive. They've already shown off a Mirage one.
>>5830936
I bet that the rest of the vfs save for Mirage's will be web exclusives
I'm eyeing some of the VF-25 chogokins in Mandarake, but I'm not sure which one, the A variation (grunt color scheme) or the YF (that weird orange combination)
suggestions?
>>5831448
If it's not a renewal version, avoid it like the plague.
>>5831545
are the first frontier chogokins so bad?
on that account, do the super or armored parts of the old releases are compatible with the renewal figures?
>>5831549
The non-renewals are a waste of money, and the packs are not compatible with the renewals.
>>5831629
well that's bullshit
>>5831655
They're better off for it. The first chogokins werre terribleBe happy you have the hindsight now, and weren't buying them back then, where over a thousand dollars where rendered obsolete.
>>5831549
why would you even think that old release armor will be compatible with the renewal figure? all the parts are different shape and size.
>>5832080
>he's only ever scored with his mother
>>5831448
>the A variation (grunt color scheme)
I got this one and the nose is not that straight so it doesn't seat right but still looks ok. But if it not a renewal don't get it. avoid the CF VF--171 to.
>>5832176
could you post some pictures?
>>5831448
I'm selling a VF-25S + Super Parts. You interested anon?
>>5833350
that most probably will require international shipping, as I'm from tacoland, but I'm willing to hear your offer
>>5833351
It'll be coming from Canuckistan. I'll sell it to you based on Mandy prices for the same item. 220$ for the Valk and 120$ for the Supers, 300$ for the set. I'll only ask 25$ for shipping.
Any news about the SV-262?
Is the 1/72 VF-31 model kit sturdy or floppy?
>>5833375
As a fellow Canuckistan, I can't help but feel curious to know if there are any other major goodies you might be willing to sell.
>>5828008
A-are those Arcadia vf-0 toys? If so, Jesus. The vf-0 is on its own a foot long toy that thing really is a monster
Anyone wanna buy a Yf-29b for 130 plus shipping?
>>5835593
Is there something wrong with it?
>>5835481
I'm thinking of selling my unused MB Laevatein. I also have a SoC SPEC XS-01R that suffered from a shelf dive but has been fixed ever since.
>>5835612
Nope. Got the box and everything. I decided I like the 31 more.
>>5837338
Yeah, I'm just selling it slightly below cost since I got it in person instead of having it shipped to me from Mandarake, which saved a ton of money.
Also, if it's any difference to you, on further inspection, it seems the leg missile covers are kinda loose and have a tendency to shut close if the valk is leaning forward, but that was how it was out of the box.
>>5788513
Source on those pics? I'd like to see more of that particular paint job, looks great.
I saw some Chinese scratch-build of a VF-31A conversion from the 31J somewhere on google, was hoping someone would have more images of those as well.

Big raging HMR destroid review.
...I wasn't expecting scrotched earth toys to do this kinda review, like we know its big and phallic but...
