Just got in an Awakening Goku, it's absolutely awesome!

I did notice one thing that seemed off, though. His left ankle/boot shaft is turned way outwards, as you can see in the pic. Both his knees are pointed straight forward, so it's not a matter of just needing to turn the thigh swivel (which is ingeniously hidden).

I tried just turning the ankle area but it doesn't want to budge. Was gonna try dipping it in hot water to maybe loosen it up and then try to twist it again, but before I ham-hand this I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. Is that ankle area even supposed to be able to move or is it glued in place?

I can get a replacement if needed, but if I can fix it myself I'd rather just do that.

Gohan beats him, but only after he transforms into a Super Saiyan. It stands to reason then, that Gohan needs the transformation now to get back up to his full power, compared to back in the Buu Saga when he didn't need to transform to have access to his full strength.

Z Movie 4 predates Goku's transformation against Freeza into a Super Saiyan, and Toei didn't know what he would look like, so they made their own thing. Movie 4 premiered on March 9th, 1991. The chapter where Goku became a Super Saiyan was on March 19, 1991. So there was no way Toei could have known what he'd look like.

No, we wouldn't. Material cost is almost nothing. What does matter is the number of parts and the number of different color of plastic. A skin colored face with three different eye pieces is more expensive to produce than three complete faces.

Generally speaking no.

Most of the faces have the front hair as part of the faceplate. So while awakening and regular SSJ might be possible, it'd look off color, and it wouldn't fit on base goku.

So question for anybody that has them both. I want to get the Teen Gohan figure, and swap his head with Krillin so I can have teen gohan from the Bojack movie. Does anybody know if the heads are compatible?

Just got the new trunks today. The new hip joints greatly reduce the diaper effect at the cost of lots of movement. You can not pull the legs downwards.

Visually the new hips look a lot more well put together. I'll have the pose more and see which I prefer. Regardless the new trunks figure is good

Knew someone would pick that apart. It's an old pic I happened to have on hand. Hair turned out glossier than expected so I've since switched to better paints. It looked fine in normal lighting conditions, but the flash really brought out the shine, and this very photo is what made me realize I needed to fix it.
