I got my witch king earlier this month so my knight has someone his own size to pick on. I don't take pictures often, and I'm still sort of afraid to move the knight. They both look sort of clunky but I'm hoping I get better at natural movements over time.

i had a choice on amazon because i have a credit card there and im racking up debt. but it was either the kit or the revo and i went with the revo after watching some reviews. i like crazy articulation in a lot of toys and the revoltech has better articulation than the kit. i see why the t-hips would be a turn off but i dont really care.

I just watched a review of that Revoltech R2D2.

Good grief, that is a disappointing amount of accessories, and a wasted opportunity for what could have been a cool R2 figure with a light up feature and other gimmicks. That pull back motor base is ugly as fuck too.

Hopefully the Mafex will have more to offer.

It's quite skinny and a little too stylized. The cape is also a disaster.

My main gripe is the cape. Fuck the cape.

It's riddled with revoltech joints for added posability but in reality it just looks ugly as fuck and can only really hinge up and down.
A cloth cape lined with a wire would have done the job without ruining the aesthetics of the figure.

The proportions are stylized so he looks skinny and cartoonish, I didn't mind this so much with Revoltech Boba Fett but Vader just looks silly.

I can't get him to do 2-handed lightsaber poses without his hands popping off or his arms coming apart. To top it off, he looks awkward as fuck in most dynamic poses, so all of that added shit for the sake of articulation is wasted.

Yeah, Mafex doesn't seem to sell out like Figma and Figuarts. The line hasn't really caught on as well as the others. Pretty much all of their currently released figures aside from Spiderman are still available on AmiAmi at normal prices.

I'm waiting for the newly released bank robber Joker to come down a bit before picking him up.

Few if any imports are worth pre-ordering, aside from web shop exclusives. It's just a routine that people like to use to get themselves hyped for releases, or if they constantly utilize things like Private Warehouse they like the automatic nature of it. Look at the Marvel toy releases: everyone goes nuts on Bandai Day and freaks out about pre-orders closing after 5 minutes, but the figures sit on HLJ for months on end after release.

Sony Cybershot from the early 2000s. It only has 6 Megapixels. To put it into perspective, most modern phones have around 10-12 Megapixels.

I don't really have a standard set up for backdrops. Mostly I just start grabbing things and taking photos and some of them come out others just get archived away.

You hit the nail on the head. Light and composition are 80% of the wow factor, what camera you use doesn't even make a difference on 1080p displays. 12mp ep3 for $99 and 42mp a7rii for $1999, no difference at web size

Seems like the fps idea was a bit odd for the most anons

Is that the DSC W100? I used that for a giant portion of my photos when I first started out until last year when I bought a Canon A590is to replace it. Both are extremely cheap but versatile if you know how to work the manual modes
