I never got why you would base the colors of the first release of a figure off the medium known for being black and white, and not the one known for being color. He's actually less posable than original Trunks except for the shoulders, has bare minimum accessories and due to his oversized neck ball and old Trunks' integrated neck, you can't swap the new heads over to the old body.

Just got him an hour ago along with Golden Frieza. He's better compared to his Capsule Corp ver but not by much, faces looks as good as the prototype, articulation is about the same as Awakening Goku except for the chest joint that pulls out to give him better forward/backward tilting(pic related). The new crotch tech breaks the sculpt(This isn't that much of a problem for Awakening Goku since his belt hides it and he is wearing baggy pants so the segments will look like creases) but I don't mind it but I understand if someone finds it distracting

My only gripes with the figure is that he lacks hands(Awakening Goku came with a ton of hands), only has a neutral non saiyan face and the neutral saiyan face that looks on his left side(I hate figures who has these kind of faces for a neutral expression).

Buy him if you're a fan of Trunks or if you like how the figure looks.
