May building challenges:
>make your own Dimensions team based off of a new franchise
>create a new Music star/act for Legovision 2016, also include any instruments or stage props, and don't forget an awesome name
>wasn't there also something about animal vehicles
>build a vehicle or fleet worthy of riding into Valhalla, shiny and chrome
>greeble: remake any set or build something with an absurd amount of greebling
>build a mighty micro vehicle (any surface type)
>can may be mini moc madness month: spaceship edition? yes it can
>build a brick-built animal!
>make a stop-motion / multi-frame animation
Reiterating my question:
What is the comfiest set that is still on the market?
NEW PIECES (Not counting the modified Metal Detector)
First for classic catalog greatness
But it will probably be second by the time it finishes uploading
obligatory
>>>5657323
>let's take a piece with a useful stud
>AND REMOVE THE USEFUL STUD
I get that it's probably more cheap to produce the new version, but goddammit TLG
>>5657329
You mean the scanner thing?
They've been like that for years you slowpoke.
>>5657325
>not even second
Fuggit, I'm gonna upload the rest. It's been a while since I posted these. Anyone else with more/larger/better scans, please post.
>>5657329
Organize enough AFOLs to complain about it and I bet they'd change back.
>>5657328
>Space Fights
>Skyhopper Pilot and Tusken Raider
Come on China.
Do, or do not.
Don't make some lazy attempt.
>>5657322
Creator sets.
Btw I wonder when we will get official pics of this set.
>>5657332
I know, I was just re-triggered because I use the old versions for lots of MOCs, and the new version is useless to me for anything besides POOP.

I HAD THAT FUCKING HARBOUR
I was based as fuck.

I don't remember Minecraft looking like that.

Fuck yeah, radar control units! I think I still have this catalog somewhere.
It's time?
>>5657345
You were probably based as fuck too, Anon.
>>5657344
>>5657345
I'm sure you were quite based as a child, anon.

These are all catalogs I have from childhood that I scanned last year.

>>5657350
I also ha this one, was pretty cool.
What year are these catalogues from btw? 1993/4?
>>5657352
>>5657329
On the other hand, the old one had a weak connection between the dish and stalk, I had a piece break when building stuff like pic related. New one looks stronger. I wish they'd left at least a hole through the dish, though.
I wonder when we will get other eye pieces for mixels...

I had that mafugga. Saved fucking everyone from pirates and sharks with it.
>>5657367
The only thing I want is the wheelchair. I'll wait for it to be in a set I want.
Okay this is driving me mildly nuts; I know Lego had some old set with a brickbuilt and pretty well done wheelchair in it, maybe in the 80s. But trying to search for it only brings up people wanking over HURR NEW WHEELCHAIR #TOYLIKME in recent months. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
is there a place that has good scans of all catalogues? i'm wanting to feel nostalgic to escape the crippling depression of reality.
Does anyone know if there's any Lego hair styles anywhere close to pic related?
I'm looking for a topknot/orc type thing.
>>5657402
Look at General Magmar from Nexo Knights.

I had an idea for a new game last night but the parts are gonna cost 70 bucks and there's only one store that has everything I want.
I'm trying to maintain a policy of "must finish one ongoing game before starting a new game", but it's hard when the siren beckons.
Does anyone here happen to have a Fabuland minifig and a Darth Vader minifig with the new helmet? I want to see how they look side by side.
>>5657363
I heard Trashoz, Nindjaz and Newzers were to be the last wave. Can anyone confirm that rumor?
>>5657474
That would be silly. They are selling like hotcakes.
Is there going to be a fourth set?
Also, for those who have seen the movie, who are the major characters that are not already in these sets?
>>5657346
>I don't remember Minecraft looking like that.
They added some cosmetic stuff in the last couple of big updates.
Banners you can print patterns on, different doors based on the wood you used the make them.
Also, does anyone have that pic of the Spaceship an Anon made out of Lego City Race Boat 60114?
I've been thinking about combining it with the Microfighters TIE Advanced x1 again, but last time I couldn't figure out how build the ship so it'd fit a fig.
>>5657385
try the bricklink catelog?
Wasn't there a professor x in a wheelchair?
>>5657497
>Also, for those who have seen the movie, who are the major characters that are not already in these sets?
Everyone who is not in those is [toyspoiler]Baron Zemo, Vision, Hawkeye, Spider-man and maybe Thunderbolt Ross[/spoilerswhen]
>>5657497
>for those who have seen the movie, who are the major characters that are not already in these sets?
The only other characters that I'm sure LEGO would do are Vision, Hawkeye, and Spider-Man.
A set that includes them all will most likely be more airport scenery. Maybe one of those bridges that connect gates to airplane doors.
>>5657516
Yeah I don't see what else they could do. Everything else was covered in the already released sets.
>>5657497
There won't be another set. If you want to flesh out the cast you're going to need to buy Age of Ultron sets, or have older sets, and then one of the new Spidey ones coming out this summer.
>>5657521
>car with opening rear hatch
>motorcycle
>Winter Soldier
>two civilians
>camera on a stand
>>5657526
They've already done a Winter Soldier set and that sounds basic as fuck.
>>5657524
Surely they have an MCU Spidey coming. It's clear that toy companies were given concept art of his costume.
>>5657526
>>5657529
What about Vision and Hawkeye, then?
>>5656747
50%??? Holy shit I'm having a heat attack!
>>5657531
They'd have to come in the set with him. It sounds like a good setup for a 20 USD set.
Otherwise Spider-Man would have to be an exclusive polybag, and that won't be any fun.
>>5657529
Saving that for his new stand alone movie. Don't wanna release it too early and lose some hype for collectors.
I heard Thor: Ragnarok will have Hulk in it, which is good, because they're pretty much the only major characters who weren't in Captain America: Civil War.
Quicksilver and most of the villains are dead anyway.
>>5657537
Are you kidding? No company would pass up the chance to make more Spider-merch.
>>5657548
That's not the new spider-man. That's still a generic comic version. They won't release a new design until the new movie so that everyone will run out and buy the new sets even faster to finish their MCU collection now that it will be an official MCU design. Then they can sell a set now, and another set later. More profits!
>>5657548
>See Scarlet Spider
>Who da fuck?
>Googling
>Now I can't get https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFHi8TouPoU out of my head
God damn it Marvel! Why do you do this to me?
>>5657497
I'd like to see maybe a plane with the tunnel thing and it include Hawkeye, new Antman, Spidey and maybe Vision but Vision didn't really look any different.
Does anyone have any experience with combining two of 60051, High-speed Passenger Train? I've heard from one review that iys easy to take the two rear cars and combine them into another center car - is this true?
>>5657574
>is this true?
Not done it myself but looking at what they're made out of, it seems easy enough.
>>5657511
>couldn't figure out how build the ship so it'd fit a fig.
Usually I just sit a random minifig down and build around them, that makes it easier.
>>5657567
Regular size Ant-Man, you mean?
It could work. I was thinking that Spider-Man and Vision on one side and Hawkeye on the other one would be so unbalanced, it's not even funny, but throwing Ant-Man into the mix would help, I guess.
>>5657252
linking it here in case someone missed it
>>5657581
Yea i'd have said Vision but his outfit didn't change or anything so no point putting him in again unless they wanted him easier to get.
A Minifig of "Casual home" Vision would be nice.
>>5657579
>Usually I just sit a random minifig down and build around them, that makes it easier.
That's what I tried, but I just couldn't seem to make it work with the pieces in those sets...
Now I'm thinking I'll just slap the wings of the Microfighter onto that Anon's Ship build, but I can remember how it went together.
>>5657596
I think keeping his old costume would be exactly why he would be included in a hypothetical fourth Civil War set. Spidey and Clint will already make for two new sets of prints, so reusing the AoU Vision will make it easier on the budget compared to a CW Ant-Man that would require a new helmet piece.
>>5657613
Forgot pic.
I do agree that a Sweater Vision would be lovely.
>>5657613
Also, it would allow fans to assemble the 6 vs 6 from the airport.
>>5657497
Are the two Winter Soldier figs any different?
>>5657633
The two Civil War minifigs are the same (left on pic related), but that version is distinct from the CA:WS polybag version (right).
>>5657642
Hmm, that's OK.
At least the two Captains are different.
>>5657460
http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15501#T=S&C=85
What's the deal with the Panther, anyway? Is he just African Batman?
>>5657656
>black outfit
>badass normal (sometimes)
>rich bastard
>defender of his home region
The difference is that Panther has diplomatic immunity while Batsy is a vigilante.
>>5657666
Thank you, Satan.
>>5657656
Black Panther is a better Batman than Batman. Vision is also a better Superman than Superman.
>>5657683
Vision -- comic or MCU -- isn't Superman enough to be Superman.
Maybe if he was also Captain America.
>>5657497
How many fricking different Quinjets are there?
>>5657708
>6869 from Avengers 1
>76032 from Age of Ultron
>76042 Helicarrier has tiny Quinjets
>76051 from Civil War
And at least two polybag versions.
The Avenjet from 76049 is not technically a Quinjet.
Any good youtube channels focused on building techniques?
What are some of the best currently available budget sets. By budget I mean under $20.
>>5657328
Space Fights has nothing on Star Wart.
I didn't realize Lego was making official bongs now.
>>5657798
apparently that piece is from 1998 aquazone sets and i just found out it exists
>release disney minifigs
>don't make Mr. Incredible and Genie bigfigs
LITERALLY
ONE
JOB
>>5657811
they could at least have made an Axl-type torso for mr. incredible. his proportions are completely off as a plain minifig. i guess a repaint would also have worked for genie too.
>>5657798
>I didn't realize
>>5657803
>i just found out it exists
>>5657815
hey i had the big aquazone manta ray submarine so i didn't get any of the smaller sets, and i was 8 so i wasn't scanning catalog pictures for unique pieces like i am now as an afol
There will be a fourth Civil War set.
It's an extension of the airport battle. Will include Vision (same as AoU variant), Hawkeye (slightly new printing) aswell as MCU Spidey (which is the same as the one from the Avengers DLC, a real highlight with printing on arms and legs)
>>5657851
This is literally my dream scenario, so I doubt it. Source?
>>5657511
>Also, does anyone have that pic of the Spaceship an Anon made out of Lego City Race Boat 60114?
This one?
>>5657857

Now only the engines fall off now and then, but that's totally a safety feature, in case of fire, you see.

>>5657880
It is the guy at the center.
>>5657857
No, I'm pretty sure it used less parts...
Like it looked like a direct rebuild of the set.
>>5655553
Off topic I know, but can you use Amiibos still in the package, or are you crazy?
Anybody else see, or hear of these things, ever?
Saw them at TRU this weekend. Two minifigs and a bunch of accessories for $5. I hope LEGO does more of this for other themes. Especially since the regular LEGO IP battle packs are $15, and just have two more figures.
>>5657919
Shovel knight is the only one you can use without takingit out of the box iirc
>>5657957
Yeah they're meant for a TRU promo next week IIRC. They just showed up at mine too.
>>5657353
Holy batman that's an ancient pic i made by now.
Built the Speed champions Camaro today, but it was absurdly long and looked stretched out. Didn't like the centred 4wide cockpit either. Sadly i forgot to add a six wide trans black windscreen so it remains WIP for now.
But the proportions are improved by a lot already.
Don't feel so well now so i'm not gonna go through the stress of applying stickers tonight.
>>5657886
why are they so happy killing each other
>>5658008
I kind of like it without the windshield! Just a couple tiles to hold the doors in, maybe one of these in front of the driver who's got a face shield anyway... http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=85984

For anyone interested, Lego online store has the nexo Knight army pack up for 15
Particle Ionizer anon from yesterday here. Yesterday at the yard sale I was at they had pic related mint in box for 70 and Rock Raiders HQ for 60. Didn't get either, they told me tomorrow they'll have a deal where they give you a trash bag and fill it up for 20 bucks. Tried hiding the sets a little and left. Came back today 15 minutes before they opened up and both sets were gone. Feelin gipped anons. Which one of you took it?
>>5657537
I hope they don't change the costume for his standalone because I really want this minifig

Fake as fuck, but I give you kudos for using E.T. and Harry Potter. Almost makes it seem viable. I realize Lego greenlit that Adventure Time build set or whatever but we have yet to see it in final production. And if they just greenlit it recently it won't be until next year for them to get the license and all that.
>>5658433
Thanks! Wish I could take all the credit but I got the idea from a set.
Can someone who has one of these tell me how many plates deep the indent on the back is?
I need to know if two bricks will be flush with the top or not.
>>5658552
enough for a minifig to stand in
>>5658556
Yeah, I'm thinking of using a pair of upside-down 1x2 slopes and regular 1x2 slopes to give it some stubby wings. It looks like it's 4 plates high like a horse, so that will stick up quite a bit.
>>5658552
It is a brick and a plate, so 4 plates deep. It is just like a horse's hole.
>>5658564
yeah because you know all about horse's holes, anon.
>>5658569
Of course I do. I have been playing with my horse's holes since I was a kid! Man, those horse's holes take me back.
Thinking of using ingot pieces to do this kind of brickwork on a road I am making for a project and I am curious if there are any other tiles or stuff that would work better for it.
Went to TRU today. Sitting on the shelf was a pristine Milano Spaceship Rescue, full retail plus TRU tax of $80. Figure that since its OOP, might be getting it for a good deal. Get home and look on bricklink....
Fuckers selling it sealed and new for like $40-$50....I paid $80.
At least I got a new green-fu to add to my stripper harem, also got Meme-Lord, Drax the Misunderstander and Raging Ronan. Shame no Rocket or Groot, but they can both be had in a set for about $25. Hope we get some new neat sets for GoTG 2.
>>5658533
>if they just greenlit it recently it won't be until next year for them to get the license and all that.
Unless they greenlit it because they knew they had the license in the bag.
>>5658595
washing machine pieces with 1x1 tiles makes tiles witha pleasing offset, use different colours to make a pleasing effect
>>5658596
If you haven't opened it yet, return it to TRU and buy it online anon.
>>5658628
I have no clue what the washing machine pieces are can you post a picture.
couldn't help myself but canabalize some parts from my policecar to temporarily finish up my modded Camaro speed champions set.
It's now way shorter, better proportioned, seats two and has exhaust pipes.
The only thing is that the striped parts are just one piece short of a complete stripe. So i hid it with a jumper plus a round tile to simulate an external air filter.
I can reccommend the camaro and ford hotrod immensily if you're willing to modify them. But Applying the stickers on the camaro was nerve wrecking tho.
But the end result of the stickers is nice, even though i would've prefered printed pieces like the doors of the ford hotrod.
Oh and i also changed out the rubbers on the rear wheels. now they're a little bigger and wider than the front, but not as ridiculous as they were before.
>>5658642

>>5658228
Don't mind me, just doot'n
>>5658726
>>5658595
Well here is a photo of the street I am making but I am currently making a render of what I have made so far. Currently trying to figure out a way to make the lego version look more used.
>>5658733
With the render finished I may need to find some other ways to get the tiles to tessellate and maybe switch out some other tiles
>>5658728
This is the best Nixel face
>>5658741
If it were me, I'd just forget the slanted yellow line on the left. I would also alternate the bricks so each row is offset by one stud from the next.
Unless, of course, you can deal with having the street an extra plate tall, then I'd use jumpers below the bricks to give yourself a lot more variation.
>>5658749
I might go with the whole jumpers under the tiles because I am planing to have this sit on a sort of plinth so I can have the basement of the firehouse I just have no clue how to make a stable platform for the firehouse to sit on.
>>5658644
This looks TONS better.
>>5658533
>implying it's not true
In any case, I'm having a hard time seeing Sonic as a minifigure. A minidoll would've been closer to his proportions.
More upgrades to my space limo. More greebling, bigger tailfins, now seats three, more room in the trunk for Space Police personnel..

One online store said that they have in stock, but it was a mistake so they sent me Castle Cavalry to make up for it. I ended up buying her Unikitty from BL and apologising.
Maybe I order one from BL if she's still interested, but they've gotten so fucking expensive since retiring.

My point is that you buy the earliest you can find. It should be the Palace Cinema (2013) or the Parisian Restaurant (2014). If you want the other ones later, it will be easier that way.
However, the restaurant is considerably comfier than the cinema.
>>5659346
Oh I see. Are you just talking about availablity or also potential reselling later?
>>5659356
Just availability and price.
Go for the Restaurant, if you can find it.

>>5659577
Which is a shame since in the show the King's Much is a repaint of the Black Knight's Much.

Oh yes. That piece on the middle left looks very useful. The one to the right of it might be nice for adding higher level detail to big builds.
Cool. My Spider Gwen comes Wednesday.

I thought Brickset had it listed as having more parts and a higher price. Unless that's a place holder we'll at least get something else.
Plus the thing has a proper shield and not some little ship-thing. (Going by the show)
I finally got the last of my parts in from BrickLink. This is the first MOC I ever made using LDD and BL. It's supposed to be the Batmobile from Arkham Knight.

The panels above the rear wheels required a couple of redesigns for the wheels to spin freely. Sometimes LDD is more forgiving with clearances than real life.

They always had stickers in weird places, you just don't remember. The entire Juniors line uses no stickers. I have really enjoyed the crazy prints they give the kids.
>>5660271
I was looking at some of the City sets with the different vehicles (tow truck, camper, also the construction one with the minifigure on the porta-john because I thought that was fucking hilarious- mostly looking at the sets and seeing what stuff could be cannibalized for parts the best once I find my own old Lego stuff this year cleaning house) and all I could see was all the stickers everywhere that I could've sworn used to be printed stuff like the POLICE bricks on vans and hoods and shit.
>>5660273
You're right, I probably don't remember. Nostalgia is a scary thing, I guess.
>>5658900
That's 2200 pieces there.
>>5660264
There were less printed bricks back then too. They just got more complicated as things went on, but still avoid printing everything. I think the only sets where they print everything are the ideas sets, but you're already paying a premium then to begin with so that's only fitting.
What you should complain about is that they still use shitty stickers on some sets that end up peeling over time. They have one type that rarely does, then another that almost certainly will. Madness.
>>5660272
An original Metroliner I want to update with Power Functions stuff (which this Lego store didn't have anything for) since the electronics for it got ruined and I plan to get one or two of 60051 High-speed Passenger Train since Walmart has it for like, $50 under retail.

Here's a general rule: if the design is only going to be used in one set, it's a sticker. If it's going to be used in more than one set, it's printed. There are few exceptions - Ideas sets, for instance.

Do you have an sources on the effect of UV/blacklight on Lego parts? I mean I can find plenty of pictures of sun damage. I'm not sure it's fair to assume short amounts of UV is the same as the sun for years. I went ahead and looked into this claim, and I found some things I hadn't expected. It turns out florescent light bulbs emit UV. White LEDs also produce some UV. So just displaying your Lego models on a shelf with a light on them for a long period of time might be just as bad. In fact, it seems like Lego bricks are born just to die.

1x slope, these fit the hinge best http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3298
Add more hinges for angles/poseability, and something to put under the legs.
REMINDER:
If I may offer my personal thoughts. Lego had the last laugh. Blizz needed NEW EVERYTHING, Lego wanted to make it fit in with their stuff. So the companies went in different directions. MegaBloks Warcraft died. But Lego gave us their version of WoW Lego anyway.
>Chima: Classic minifigs with new head molds (with classic heads underneath) - covered both bases, what lego wanted (adult fans/purists can swap helmets) plus what Blizz wanted (unique new molds). Would have worked as a compromise.
Chima sets:
Good guy lions (alliance human), VS bad guy greenskins (orcs). Wolf guys are in a sort of alliance with crocs with their own agenda (forsaken).
Maybe other vague matches. Gorillas are savage race with thing for hammers (tauren+dorf?) Etc.
Anyway. Expansion 1 (Wave 2 sets): Literally called outland, going to new land to find bug monsters.
Expansion 2 (Wave 3): Northrend, enemies are frost/ice themed undead zombie monsters.
And now Nexo knights, where Deathwing's human form (Moltor [with spiky shoulders] + General Magmar's Jaw piece) leads the fel orcs to war in the latest expansion, warlords of lavaworld. (/Burning Crusade).
The main difference? Every Chima Tribe and even the Lava armies have female characters. Megabloks never even finished making the playable races, nevermind female versions of the ones they had (Minus Jaina and possibly NElf?)
Anyway. We already have WoW Lego. And it's awesome.
and now, your daily dose of SPACE LIMO.

Get one of each set each week for three weeks.
LEGO seriously need to step up their moderating of the submissions to LEGO Ideas.
I mean look at shit like this: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/141105
There's tons of stuff like this, it just fills up the site, it will never get 10 000 votes and if it would it would never be made into a set.
LEGO needs to do something about these. I think a good first change would be to only accept things built in physical bricks, then we would get rid of all the crappy LDD submissions
>>5661610
Those kids are the ones that vote. They might not be on the site if they couldn't upload their own creations. Without them saying they'd pay for Big Bang Theory sets, we might not still have Lego Ideas. But that's just a theory.
>>5661610
Dude it's probably submitted by a little kid. Deleting the submission would probably crush him.

>>5661445
Are you autistic? What are you talking about?
Why do people keep talking about the space limo? Is it a new meme?
I've got a question for those of you who have the modulars--or maybe everyone in general. I've been thinking about picking one up to see what it's like, and maybe start a small collection, but I'm not sure what I should get first.
Personally I think the detective's office would be the one I'm most interested in, so if the idea of buying more kind of falls through I'd probably still be happy with the one purchase due to the design and rooms.
On the other hand, the Parisian Restaurant is on its way out, and the part to price is amazing there. It's also got some cool details. I think the main thing about it is it feels smaller than the others, although that translates to more detailed a model and likely a more enjoyable build.
Lastly the pet shop is essentially gone, but I could pick one up maybe. I've heard it feels empty outside of the actual store portion, but it would be a nice "livable" space if I did expand my collection. Basically I'd want to commit to more sets if I got it, but if I pass it up it's potentially forever. Hard choice for the first go.
If anyone could comment on which one they like more if they have a few, or leanings on where I should head based on my reasoning would be helpful. I'm also likely to look into the bank eventually too if I add on a few more, but not sure about a first buy.
Have a repost of an awesome micro set for your troubles.

>>5662437
If you can find the pet shop, go for it. If not, I'd say the Parisian Restaurant looks considerably comfier than the Detective's Office.
Is there a particular reason why you think the office would be the one you're the most interested in?
>>5662457
The office is the one I'm leaning toward because it's tall and has that classic building feel and it looks good on its own from all angles. The water tower is a nice touch as well. Add to that the barber shop and pool hall with the proper details on the inside onto the detective's office and it just feels like a general package to play around with, and minimal "empty" space. The minifigures in the set are a nice final touch. Basically it hits a lot of aesthetic and practical buttons for me.
The restaurant has a lot going for it too, but the lack of that classic facade and more open feeling makes it seem a bit lesser to me, even though it's quite packed with details as well. That kitchen especially.
Any particular reason you're saying pet shop first, or is it more if a "if you can, get it before you regret it" feeling?

That's one reason I'm hoping for those with the sets to eventually chime in as they've actually got/built the thing and can give more hands on advice.
>>5662498
Ahh. Yeah, the inside did seem a bit weird when I built mine. Not much in the way of practicality, more just for show. The new one for the new movie seems to have a better designed inside. (While the outside looks worse.)
>>5662482
Yes, it's more of a "get it while you still can" thing.
I feel the Palace Cinema is the weakest of the modulars, so it doesn't come as a surprise that you don't even mention it.
>>5662410
Happen to have a link to the knockoff? I'd be willing to buy Chinese in this case.
On another note, I keep hearing flex track is bad - Why?
>>5662505
I feel like the pet shop is the weakest of the modulars, actually. The palace cinema at least is unique.
>>5662503
Looking good there. Looking forward to the complete model, and potentially its mobile base as well.
>>5662505
Well, the cinema looks good outside, but feels excessively bland compared to everything else. Ironically as a movie buff the idea of a lego theater didn't really sell me on it. Had I excess cash to toss around I would jump on that just to add a second corner to the scene, but I can't be spending over $1000 on sets. At least not right now.
Thanks for the advice. Hopefully a few more people chime in, but it does seem pet shop is the popular answer for now.
>>5662512
Shit, im looking now and cant find the damned thing. I remember seeing them FOR FUCKING SURE like a month ago on ali and even amazon. First one I saw, only problem with it was that the track was blue, but then I saw the gray ones after that. It was either ENLIGHTEN or LELE that made them. Might try searching from there.
There was also a guy who made custom track splitters of different varieties in one of the MOC shops on bricklink, but his store didnt look like it had been active for a long time. That might be another hope, a custom piece or two.
>>5662504
Yeah so far this is the interior it has space for a lego stretcher that can come out with all the protonpacks on it and it looks somewhat like the actual cars interior
>>5662533
Also did a complete redo of the roof rack to have a bit more detail
>>5662503
How do this thing's joints not just collapse under its own weight
>>5662552
Layers anon. Layers and layers and LAYERS of shit. BOXY design versus SLEEK design.
At least thats my guess.
Could you guys help me out? I've been breaking my head for the past few hours trying to find out how the area highlighted in red is made. I know the part in green is two headlights back to back, I know the part in blue is a 1x2 plate attached to the top of two headlights with the frontside down, and I know the part in brown is a 1x1x2/3 slope, but I can't find for the sake of myself find out how the fuck the part in red is made so the plate on the blue part is on level with the front side. Bottom pictures are there just for extra reference.
>>5662607
I think your blue piece is a bracket on the headlights, not a plate

>>5661995
I found a head design I like. Now I need to bricklink a few dark red parts, or maybe the whole thing in red.
What do you guys think of the thighs? Too thick?
>>5662607
Is the white plate in front not a plate, but a bracket?
>>5662622
He needs to work on arm day. Leg day is done.
Other than that, nice.
>>5657695
Yeah, Vision is more of a Martian Manhunter.
>>5662632
Leg day ain't done yet. It was too short. One of these 1 x 4 slopes could be angular like its chest.
>>5658744
agreed. I gave mine an electric guitar.
>>5662532
From what I can gather from broken English and what I see around, it seems Enlighten has stopped making track and now sells Banbao(?) track instead? I've also heard that Banbao track is a little taller than Lego/Enlighten track, so it's not compatible unless you sand down the connection points to create a slope in the height.
I can't find any mention of the double crossover being made by a knock off brand at all, though.
>>5662622
>>5662619
Thanks a lot guys! It's my first time building without instructions and am still not too familiar with all the parts, funny thing is that I had tried the bracket but I was using it on the backside, it never crossed my mind to try it on the front. Now I can proceed to finish the little shit and order it on bricklink.
>>5662640
Needs longer arms and legs, I think. Otherwise a very good start. I love the head design.
>>5662503
put a minifig in the hole so that it looks like it's wearing big pants!
>>5662659
>longer legs again
You're right though. I think the arms are long enough, they only reach mid thigh even when it slouches.
>>5662684
Do a webm of him doing the moonwalk. His pose is fucking PERFECT for it.
Or a classic "TL,DR loooooooool"
Or, if you want to go rique......the classic ghostbusters walk after spouting a certain racially charged word in a comic making fun of liberal SJWs and WORDS.
He is posable as fuck and and has massive reaction potential.
>>5662761
yes
Welp made short video of the Sharkman Drawing but trying to figure out how to put it in GIF form or so.
And redoing it because it was somehow the same number both times.
Stupid question but what is the most updated way to convert an LXF file into a bricklink acceptable file
>>5662777
Probably Brickficency.
Best way to build a pawn stars lego?
>>5661982
>Oh, it's from THAT guy.
who's THAT guy? is he famous or something? drama queen?
>>5661982
grey epaulettes don't exist though??
>>5662412
good decision anon, that thing rules.
>>5662368
I've been saying that all along, they need to capitalize on the idea instead of pretending like girls like to build things.
>>5662922
>instead of pretending like girls like to build things.
The success of Friends over normal doll products shows that girls DO like to build things, just different things from boys, and even that's only in a majority-but-not-nearly-all area.
>>5662980
Take it back to tumblr, it was a joke.
>>5662980
>The success of Friends over normal doll products shows that girls DO like to build things
It shows that sissy boys and all that faggots that like pink girly thigs DO like build things.
>>5663191
>/pol/ is six hours late to the party, after everyone has gone home already
>>5659577
According to Brickset it's 10 bux more, so there'll probably be something extra. Maybe a bigger monster to fight?
>>5662437
Imho Parisian, Detective's and Bank are a massive step ups in terms of content compared to what has come before. I personally won't bat an eye when the Pet Store phases out and just look forward to what's in the future so my current shelf space is happy for the next 4-5 years to come.
>>5662494
Can confirm
Was in the Lego store and it had a "Retiring Soon" tag above the price
Went back a few days later and the tag was gone along with all the sets
Haven't been in since but it was pretty spooky
Buy 2 now and resell one in 2 years (it'll pay for the one you keep!)
>>5662854
Your best chance is to contact Lele or Decool to make a bootleg bigfig
>>5662503
Oh my god that is awesome, is that Liberty Prime?
