that looks pretty great
the crates and canisters are cool and spacey looking.

made a stubby little spacer after fiddling around with 180 snot techniques. I's not very visible but the underside and the pieces positioned forward are really finagled. It's shaped mostly like a head and is way wider than it's long with its x-wing inspired wings.
With the colours i tried to go for a UFO type scheme but without too much red and black

April challenges:
>Create a LEGO ambassador to represent your city/nation/planet/world at the LEGO World conference.
>Create a micro version of the first set you were given/bought as a kid.
>Showcase the rarest piece/minifigure you own in a vignette.
>Build anything Nintendo related: consoles, characters, items, sprites.
>Build a big beautiful defensive wall. Can be any theme - Castle, Ninjago or Mexican.
>Model a helicopter.

Have any questions? there's apparently a guide or something

>he thinks all packages from Europe arrive at the same time always

There's this thing called customs, and they'll randomly hold your shit for weeks for no fucking reason.

I'd wait and see if it arrives, because honestly you're looking at a good wait time either way if you try to get a refund.

That said, BL doesn't have a return policy because they don't sell anything. You are contractually bound by the individual seller's store terms.

I highly suggest you read them before making any purchases and definitely before seeking any kind of refund.
>>
>>5587107

I havent played with lego since I was a kid. If I were to take it up as a hobby again how much do you think I would spend (I live in europe) If I have no interest in specific minifigures and licensed shit? Like, my interest lies in building fantasy shit and I don't really care for official sets. If I get all my bricks from bricklink, how much do you think I would spend on average to get the amount of bricks similar to that of a large set?

If I get all my bricks from bricklink, how much do you think I would spend on average to get the amount of bricks similar to that of a large set?
Honestly, your best bet is to buy a couple of unsorted tubs on ebay. $100 (or your local equivalent) on the right tub will get you everything you want. Just look for a tub that looks like it has a lot of castle elements in it. A lot of ebay dealers sell bulk unsorted pieces by weight.

If you want pre-sorted sets or specific pieces in specific colors, Bricklink is the way to go.

If you have something to sell yes. Got over 500€ since I started on Jan.1st but 300 of those was my old Stormtrooper army.

I have orders coming continously like when I get one I take 4-5 days to ship it and when I come back there is already another order. A bunch of it is under 1€ stuff though, I can´t believe some of these orders like just a handful of classic space guns or two CMF Zombie shovels out of rubber with a flat end like am I really the best pick for this stuff when they still have to pay thrice the price in shipping alone?

Inventoring pieces and deciding which ones are expendable is a hassle though.

I got it for 3€, wouldn´t have paid more than that. I like the Hera fig to widen my SW alien collection but that´s it. I like the trans 2x2 dome and some more R5 heads but I don´t have any idea what to do with them immediately either.

Microfighters are my least favorite sets. Parts are never that useful or rare for me. The models style is of course not that good which leaves only the figures and those are nearly exclusively pilots which means either the pilot is useless and superfluous due to the normal versions of the crafts already coming with pilots (Snowspeeder, TIE, Pilot droid) or the fig has a superior design to the regular released pilots and does not get released in the real sets for various reasons (X-wing pilot) or my favorite: the system scale version of the model does not come with enough pilots forcing you to get additional ones this way for 10 bucks each (Republic Gunship, ARC-170, AT-AT). The few soldiers they release are never that important and still too costly because it´s just one fig per set (clone trooper) making the aftermarket price higher than a fig from say a battlepack or the figure is gimped (New Order Snowtrooper missing his skirt).

Anyone here ordered stuff from Lego's Bricks and Pieces service? How's the shipping time usually? It's been a week and the order status is still IN WAREHOUSE. So it hasn't even left Denmark yet? I doubt it'll make that 7-10 day shipping estimate I recall seeing, since I live in New England.

Do you guys ever dream about Lego? Last night I dreamt that I was a Lego designer - I designed a City set which was great because I managed to sneak in a new kind of door and some stickers that I really wanted for a Moc I was building.

Another common dream that I'm sure others have had is finding old and or rare sets on sale.

I've always wondered what the lore is to everyone's MOCs around here. You can't really be into legos and not have been that kid that made ground crew vehicles and actually cared about that one G.I Joe that was military police.

I don't have pics of anything new and real, or new at all, so here's some kinda old craft I did in LDD.

From right to left:

>Drone tri-fighter: Used for close air support, electronic warfare, SIGINT/ELINT, and anti-shipping. close air support/anti shipping shown here.

>E-Wing: Plain E-Wing, different paint. E-wings are definitely the SU-34s of star wars.

>Goblin: Star Wars-themed retarded son of an A-10 and a B-58, and raised by a B-61 Black Widow. Two gunners, one pilot, one copilot.

is anybody interested in Lego animation?
I want to do this, but do not feel skilled enough. Made 3 small movies now. Did not have even tripod or remote shutter.
Do you know some good channels, where I can get advice?
>>
>>5590019
I really like the minecraft stop-motions lego has had on their youtube channel, but I've not gone hunting for lego animation. I could see it being really good or really bad.
>>
>>5590019
I have been working on making some animations myself. I made a tripod out of lego stuffs and hot glued a plate to the back of my phone case to make it nice and steady. I also got your remote shutter solution. I tried all kinds of things. Most phones have voice activated shutter options. I didn't love that. You can also try IP webcam apps and use your computer to capture the images. But hear this crazy idea, use your headphones! Those ones with the little mic and volume buttons on the one earbud wire. You can set the phone to take a picture with the volume button as the trigger. Thats helped me a ton.

I know you are going to hard on yourself, but just look at what kids are making. it's charming and easy. Just like most lego stuff you gotta have fun.

Looks awesome dude, but my initial idea to avoid applying any voices to characters so people from any country can enjoy the movies.
My first two animations was made using just poor 10 years old digital camera, but third one I am making using Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (just borrowed it) - need advice should I get real camera or I can just buy phone. What phone if I should buy just phone.
Also I am scared that my skills do not improve and people will not like my movies, but do not know how to find out the answer.

Trying to build up an army of samurai. What should I go for--classic 1998 samurai, or ninjago shit?

Also, would you say torsos like pic related, with proper armor/accessories would work too? I love this torso

Anyone ever play Brikwars? I want to play with my girlfriend and roommate, but want to have a map and armies set up. About how big a table, and how big an army, is required for a fun game?

Not minimum, mind you. At what point does it get really fun, and at what point is the map/army too big and unwieldy? I'm looking for the sweetspot, a nice bell in the curve of army size to map ratio
>>
>>5590128
I like making normal ninjas from Ninjqago- their signs are like clans, and many diferent outfits fits diferent classes.
>>
>>5590135
Table with lot of diferent obstacles, 2-3 buildings works great for me. Throw (litteraly) some random loot around for better mahem.
We often use 1 hero, 4 normal troops, 2 special troops with traits and one special troop like vechicle or big animal.

Anyone else here who's a minifigfag?

I pretty much only care about minifigs, when I get sets I almost always end up selling the bricks and keeping the minifigs.

Granted, I'm mainly into Marvel Superheroes so the sets are really shit to begin with but yeah.

>>
>>5590618
I like to buy sets with cute female figs, cum on them, then melt them into a jar with the others. As for the set I assemble them then smash em with a sledgehammer or use for target practice.

I wouldn't call it dead, it's probably one of the faster threads on /toy/ as it's a slow board.

I am, biggest issue right now is trying to find a sequential picture taking setup that would work for me.
Almost everything these days is Webcam based, which doesn't work if your PC is in the Garage Office and your shooting space is in the Basement.

Sounds about right, I know my Nephew and I were hamstrung when clashing with two medium sized forces, so Skirmishing Size would be optimal for a multiplayer battle.

As for a Table, your probably not going to want much more than a Card table at that scale, since too large a space will have your units take forever to get into the fight.
Another thing to keep in mind is how long can you spare that table space; Even Small Brikwars can take a good few hours, and having a tabletop you can keep your game on for a few days can save you a few headaches.
