Cell didn't blast holes in either of them when he first became perfect.

He blasted Trunks after he self-destructed and then came back in his "Super Perfect" form. Vegeta never took a blast that went clean through him against Cell.

Krillin's TFS voice actor is great, he just sounds nothing like the funimation/kai Dub. Still a really good match for the character.
Their Seventeen and Sixteen don't really match Kai/Funi at all, and neither does Recoome, but they still sound great.

Its funny, but this thread made me realize how many crazy expressions Cell had, especially the big mouth thing. That'd pop up a lot in Buu saga, where even Piccolo starts doing them. Toriyama will always be a humorist at heart, and I think dong those crazy expressions was just that aspect coming out in what was otherwise the darkest and most humorless saga in the series next to Saiyan saga.
