Guts figure

I wouldn't exactly call it scalper prices. At this point it's late fees.

I'd like a Black Swordsman rerelease to celebrate the upcoming series, but I don't know how often Max Factory does those.

Vulcanlog seems to be grabbing a LOT of licenses as of late. They miiiiight take a crack at Berserk, then again I doubt they'll want to compete with the upcoming God Hand Figmas (knock on wood) and the already established Berserk line.

Oh, to answer your question, it is a good Figma. If I was a big Berserk fan I'd pay $80 for it. I had him but sold it just because the whole boat thing really turned me off of the series.

That's the thing, I like revoltech, but I feel like yamaguchi (assuming he's the sculptor, as he usually is with the more commercial releases) wouldn't be able to pull of the robustness of guts. Figma seems to have been able to capture that.

I would get him if I had like a $50 gift card then paid the other half. I'm a Berserk fan but I was late to the party (just started collecting about 8 months ago) and I vowed never to pay over a hundred for a figure.
Either wait for a re-release or just pay the crazy amount he's goin for. If you have the money and willing to spend it I dont see why not.

Hopefully he may get re-released, because of the new animated version of the black swordsman arc.

Really depends on how much you like him. Between the Berserker armor and this one, I like the Berserker armor more. They both have plastic capes which really weigh them down. It's just that in the Band of the Hawk one the stand plugs into the cape, which is awkward and doesn't work too well, where in the Berserker one the stand plugs into his lower back, underneath the cape.

the chances of a reissue is next to ZERO. But what you will see is New Berserk figmas, you will probably get a GUTs 2.0 a year or so after the new Anime.

figma black swordsman was my grail for a long time and i just got him as a christmas present. the age definitely shows on these guys. they use older forms of articulation compared to newer figmas, but theyre still amazing. the cloth cape is a little weird to get used to but god damn he looks great. if youre gonna shell out that much for guts, you might as well get his definitive look over the band of the hawk.

Yeah none of the capes are very good. The Black Swordsman one is like this weird paperish stuff.

But it's wasy to get some brown fabric and make your own cape
