I'd say, to start:
1. Make the "legs" into more of a cape type thing, or at least make them articulatable. As-is, they are too bland and static.
2. Try to incorporate the Beware My Stinger Tail feature in, somehow. Either by swapping around parts, swapping an arm for a giant crushing claw, or even separating it into two smaller versions on each hand.
Other than that, it looks decent, just needs work.

I'd swap one of the dark bluish grey limb piece connected to the stinger for another metallic silver bone limb piece, and change the build of the stinger so that it matches Jaw Beast's foreleg. Downgrades the tail's poseability a bit but seems more like what a set would do

Sadly prelims usually show already all the new molds to come. What they change to the final product are really minor things like dualinjected colors, prints and maybe a bit different build.

They never add any new molds from prelim to final product.

How is Umarak?

The villains have been really lackluster so far (only gotten Skull Grinder and that was mostly because of Ekimu) but Umarak looks pretty cool with his technic legs and antlers..

Yeah, Makutas Mask looks amazing. Also just realized that Umarak is as much as the larger toas, neat, tought he was in the same price as the Skull Grinder set.

I've been with Bionicle since it started, but dropped it at the end of generation 1. I sold all my legos thinking they were "kid" toys and soon got into Figma, SHF, Gundam ect. Recently I built the CCBS General Grievous and I remembered how fun it was to have a quick build and left with a satisfying toy I could actually play with, compared to hours of building an unstable gundam that I put on my shelf and forget about. I definitely think I wanna get back into the Bionicle and CCBS scene, but how would Bionicle look on a display next to high end figures? I know I wanna get Skull Grinder, Skull warrior and a few of the toa, but my question is, how do they look on a "professional" display with lighting, glass cases ect?

They picked me because of all the youth-targeted shows I watch.
Clone Wars in terms of action, and Adventure Time in terms of surprisingly in-depth and offbeat-yet-relatable lore, character development, and storytelling.

I felt that it was fitting. Gali and the one with guntits were both feminine, but I got the feeling that they could kick my ass at any given moment.
The rest were very appropriate.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi blacksmith was a lot like Getafix from the Asterix cartoons; grandfatherly yet stern.

There was a lot in the first episode about this mask of time and "ancient heroes" that didn't really match aesthetically with the rest of the stuff, but the tone and presentation was cool.
As for the rest of it, it seemed like a recap, but it meshed and hinted at a lot of things that added depth to the overall narrative.

anon you're a genious, it all makes so much sense


while I'm about it I've created this headcanon that the gearboxes are an old mechanism made to improve the movement of the arms, thus it appears in ancient beings (Ekimu, Toa). Evolution has made those gearboxes not necessary anymore, since the arms have become strong enough.

And about the uniter torso, it specifically exist of course to allow unity with the creatures. Umarak has a much deeper connection to the creatures because of this, as his body was created to unite with them.

I reworked the back section of Skull Scorpio-Man to look the way I wanted it to. I wanted to change up the trans neon green parts holding the legs, but since I only have 4 of those parts in grey I had to change up the rest of the back. Full CCBS/Technic dragons with actual knees would be great. For the Champions I imagine they could try a gladiator theme like they did in 2009. The shoulder apparatus has only one attachment, so all the weight bears down on that one axle-hole, causing them to bow outwards.
If there was some way to anchor shit on the pin-holes marked in green, then everything would be far more stable, but as it stands?
