This picture I just took with a Nikon D70 + 50mm 1.8 d + manual flash SB-15

Nikon D70 goes for less than 100 usd.
Lens 50mm 1.8d you can buy new for 110 usd or for around 70 usd used.
SB-15 I paid 17 usd.
4 AA eneloop + charger goes for around 25 usd.
CF card 4gb = less than 10 usd.

Can't get much cheaper than this.

To add to this, as much as I looove Nendoroids, typically my favorite figures are ones that represent the character in their actual dimensions... Of course I make some exceptions with Nendoroids, but ones like Mickey, Toon Link, Sonic, and Jack Frost appeal most to me.

Chino arrived today. Really early too.

Tippy has a little plastic tab that connects under him so you can fit it into the seam where the front hair piece and head connects so he actually stays on her head.

Also the table requires you to sort of fold the outer sides to fit the top.

So, just went to the Kino - no sleeping bags in sight unfortunately, but was able to pick up some little Digimon by Megahouse!! I was super surprised, didn't know they sold these lil guys in blind box form, thought you had to buy the set.

The Kino isn't in a Little Tokyo (we have a China Town and Korea Town here, unfortunately AFAIK no Japan Town), but there are a few good anime shops throughout. Image Anime is only several blocks away, and they have a great selection, although mostly overpriced.

My preferred method is to take a picture of the scene you want with nendos and another without the nendos. Then using photoshop you erase the stands from one and the the other picture for the background. I suggest using a tripod for this.

Another method is to use the healing brush and clone stamp and photoshop the stand out.

I saw a tip on Tumblr where someone put the stand behind the figure without the base, in like a long "m" shape. The peg that would go into the base is angled so it's parallel with the ground for added support. Pretty much what OP's image is doing.

The tricky part is finding the right angle to not show the stand while not having the subject look directly at the camera. More often than not the stand's going to show.

Those 2 are from valkyria chronicles 3. It was release on the psp back in 2011 and never got an english release. But there is a fan translation patch out there so I've been playing it.

To some people they feel like it, because they have a wider range of articulation, another thing that appeals to many is that you don't need all the limbs partswapping that usually nendos needs to change poses, also don't forget the magnet feets, these are God-tier
I consider the Cu-poche line as another line that combines pretty well with nendos, you can see them as big sisters for your nendos, you can swap faces and heads with them and as they sell the extra gym and swinsuit bodies, you can dressed them with fabric clothes, which is a big plus to many people
The only complain that I always hear is that, so far, is that there aren't any male character cu-poche, but that's something that could change in the future
Personally speaking I like both lines, so I will collect and enjoy both

I used the mini arm to attach to a peg hole on the back of her artillary thing. The artillary part has a joint you can attach to her peghole.

Sooo, silly question perhaps...

I ordered Mega Man and Kirby together on Goodsmiles site.

Now, I suppose Megaman is being shipped soon, and who knows when Kirby will get out...

So what the fuck? Do I just not get my Megaman for a while? Or do they split orders at all? Am I basically fucked? Should I just not pay Goodsmile when they request, and go and order from Amiami right now...? Or is there a way to solve this?

I suppose i'd like to stick with my GSC order if I can get him ASAP, due to the convenience and the bonus, but wouldn't mind switching if it means getting him much sooner.

I hardly preorder off GSC honestly but I remember my WF order was shipped out altogether in one package since everything was coming out that month. They'll probably do the same seeing Kirby and Megaman ship this month. Not unless Kirby gets a late delay for some reason.
