Aaand the Guavian Enforcer is a POS. Weird proportions, weird shape to arms, poor torso range of movement, hands that don't really fit the ugly guns, weirdly tiny feet (which the FO Troopers also have--combined with long torsos and short legs), and a stupid red "wire" that prevents the knee from moving very far. Oh, and poorly cut hip sockets.

but it's not sacrificing as much. maybe a slight gap, but at least the elbow looks good bent, and doesn't gave the weird bulge at the joint onthe BS. also the bs has no wrists, just bulges that ride into the arms. so it's either less joints that are a bit more seamless but still ruin the sculpt more, or take the gaps in wuth a cleaner, better sculpt. It really isn't even a competition. BS is a children's collecting line with child like sculpting standards.

EMS is more expensive than sal or RSAL, but worth it if you want your figure in a timely manner. It might be $12-15 for the kit alone, though.

As for plamoya, they're fine. I've ordered dozens of things from them without any complaints. They pack their items nicely.

With bandai kits it depends on things like popularity, if the source is relevant again in some way, how long they have the license, things like that. It could be available and thrown back into production for years. It could also be for only a couple months and then randomly thrown back into production later when they feel demand has built back up enough to make it worth it.

You are usually safe not grabbing it on release but if you wait too long it could be gone.

This image from a 2ch thread has me intrigued - someone appears to have transplanted the Black Series Kylo Ren's cloak onto the Figuarts body. Is there anyone here who has both (or is getting both) who could test this? Hell, can you even remove the Black Series cloak without mutilating the figure? Sticking a soft-goods cloak onto the Figuarts body would make pretty much the perfect figure for me.

This could have been the BEST luke figure /toy/, but why - why do japanese companies ALWAYS pick stylistic articulation over full articulation?

Japanese companies always focus on "movie poses", giving characters the full range of articulation to copy statuesque poses but never full "play" poses. Look at this figuarts luke, he could perfectly copy any movie art pose BUT HE CAN'T SIT DOWN.

Electro's are meant to be popped off, and they fit alright in Vader's sockets with no real issues.
Ant-Man's are not meant to be popped off, so you'd need to shave the pegs down a little once you heat and pop them.
Heat and pop Vader's hands and shave down the pegs a little so that they pop in and out easier.

I gave my Ant-Man away to a friend's kid so I can't really comment on the peg size, but popping off Vader's hands and shaving them down just enough to go in and out without much effort was not hard to do or to fuck up.
