When the fuck are we getting a Netflix Daredevil figure? This shit is taking way too long.

Right? I mean, I'm glad he got that most recent figure, but I hate the buck they used for him. A lot. I would prefer they one they used for Doc Strange instead for his classic suit. But I definitely want a Netflix DD too.

Since it will be an MCU figure, doesnt that mean he'll get a new unique sculpt? Dont they usually do that with the MCU figures?

Imagine the next unannounced line will be a DD wave

Black Daredevil
Red Daredevil
Wilson Fisk
Punisher
Electra
maybe a Jessica Jones or Red Ninja but I doubt it.

Was it ever confirmed if Bullseye would appear in season 2? I hope it'll be masked bullseye and not the shitty leather jacket skinhead one.

I just built my hulkbuster. I tried t9 turn him at the chest joint but it wasn't moving. Does he have rotation at his chest? Should I use a heat gun or aomething? It's been very old here so maybe the plastic is stuck or something.
>>
>>5268745
It's just a super tight joint, I lubed it up before I snapped the torso together and that worked wonders. If you've already put it together just try gently twisting it as you move it in a circular motion. Be really careful with it though, I haven't heard of anyone's breaking but it's a really worrying joint.

>How do you make the backgrounds blurry?
I make sure my subject is a good 2-3 feet in front of the back drop, and then I set my F-stop to between 2.8 and 5.0

Basically the further you move the subject away from the backdrop, the more out of focus the background will be. You can then make adjustments to that with your F-stop.

I wish Hasbro would do more of these exclusive box sets.

I mean, I understand that they cant really bring all of these to wide release, there just isn't the market for them, but it would be nice to just have them available, even if I have to go to a certain retailer to get them.

Is Select Thanos any good or would I be better off getting the BAF?
>>
>>5270893
Get ready for everyone telling you the select, but honestly they're both bad. The biggest problem with the BAF is the hips, everything else is pretty ok. The problem with the select is that it isn't much better articulation wise, and it's not even that much more expensive anymore. Go with the costume you like more.

Now that I've finally finished reading Matt Fraction's run on Invincible Iron Man, I realized that the Rescue figure is a hybrid of the two Rescue suits that appeared in it.

The question I have is, if the figure reuses the legs from Extremis Iron Man, did Extremis Iron Man have the same problem with wobbly knees, or is it a symptom of mold degradation?

Rescue's shiny metal ass is entirely an invention of Hasbro -- it doesn't appear in any version of the Rescue armor.

I want TV show Daredevil. Red one. Dread pirate Roberts Daredevil was okay for what it was, but I like the red suit. it could use some changes. Mostly all the black on the torso. There's just way too much black where there should be red. I'd also like it to be a brighter red.

The batons are made from a much better and sturdier material than the red one came with. My red DD had a really loose chest/abdomen joint too.

The right arm joint on my Red DD is really stiff. The elbow and knee joints feel real fragile, but that may be normal. Not use to owning Modern ML figures.

Is anyone else a bit frightened for Marvel Legends' future? I really think the first two waves in recent years, Winter Soldier and TASM2, came out really strong. And most of the waves this year came out strong too, but I'm noticing some degradation in some figures, especially the letdown that was Ant-Man. I feel that they're shoving out too many waves and with that they need to lower the quality of the plastic and such so they can get them out the door as fast as they can.
And with next year "having more waves in one year than any other year" that makes me fear that we'll see more figures like movie Ant-Man with pretty bad QC issues.
>>
>>5278436

Except Figuarts based their Ultron on an older reference model, not to mention having a pencil neck and other missing details like the panel lines on his thighs and shins.

>>
>>5279659
>I'll have fun with my infinitely more poseable, natural, and intimidating looking figure.

Exactly this. Have people even seen the promo pics for the Figuarts. They haven't even posed his shoulders going outwards (something they usually would for their figures) which really makes me question how well their Ultron can actually move.

It's surprising for some people I know, but Revoltech really seems to have knocked it out of the park with their Ultron.

>>
>>5279800
No they're not and this has been a topic of discussion between Ultron fans. It's all in the head and chest/rib cage area. Specifically, the Empire magazine design has a more slender appearance on the head but an overly-detailed box pattern on the chest. The final movie render looks more robust with the way the head is put together but the chest area has a triangular contour design that smooths out the center part. Also compare the "ribs" jutting out from both renders, you can see how the armor placement is different just by looking at the two designs.

A similar case happened to the 1/9 King Arts Ultron and the 1/6 Hot Toys Ultron where King Arts based their sculpt on the Empire magazine render while Hot Toys based theirs on the final movie render. Again, the differences between those become obvious once you have a closer look at the head and chest details.

Needless to say, even in the movie-accuracy department Revoltech has Figuarts beat in terms of their reference model.
>>
>>5280028
>it just SEEMS different
You pointed out zero details that are actually different. Everything you said is explained by the fact they're shown from different angles.
>>
>>5279684
I'm not even sure if it has those shoulder flaps judging by closeup pics of Ultron.

While the shoulder flaps are weird, they actually give room for the shoulders to move out from the side. But with Ultron? It's like they skimped on it, and all the promo pics have him posed with his arms only moving forward and back but never out to the side.

That's pretty worrying especially since they've posed their other figures before in such a way that shows off those joints somehow they skimped on doing that for Ultron just this one time (unless they were just on a bad mood when photographing Ultron but I doubt it).

Meanwhile in damn near every promo with Revoltech Ultron, they've shown that they've managed to already bypass this. It's weird for me to say but Revoltech's weird shoulder joints (they've used this on Raiden and Big Boss) actually fit Ultron's design aesthetic than any humanoid figure they've tackled.
>>
>>5280050
It seems to me like you've never looked at the renders and figures up-close then.
>>
>>5280084
There is literally nothing different between them.

And the fact you just circled basically the whole thing instead of pointing out ANY thing tells me you already know this.
>>

The facts are plain here. You have failed to point out a single difference, and instead rely on "i feel like the general shape seems slimmer" which is easily chalked up to viewing angle.
Any idiot can see you're just a weak af troll.
>>
>>5280188
>what are angles
>what are shapes
Viewing angle doesn't change the fact that one has a clear square-shaped pattern on the center while the other one has converging diagonal panel lines that smooth out the center. It's as clear-cut as that.

You constantly begging to be schooled over basic geometry is pathetic af. Go educate yourself or get some visual aid.

I said square-shaped pattern in the center, meaning there's multiple blocky shapes in the middle that's emphasized in the chest with everything else converging on it in the Empire mag's render. I said triangular contour, meaning that multiple panel lines converge on a 3-point shape on top of one another that smooths out the center and forms a triangle silhouette (which means there's no centralized pattern like the Empire render).

I also mentioned the rib cage, but granted with Ultron's made up anatomy that's harder to tell. While the Empire render has them in one piece and smooth altogether whereas the final movie render has them as two separate pieces with one overlapping the other (like armor plating).

These same differences can be seen between the Figuarts (Empire mag) and the Revoltech (final movie). I admit I may have assumed too much from people to interpret shit from images alone but hopefully that's clear enough for you people.
>>
>>5280261
the figuarts is also hollow everywhere, like the rib cage area and his shoulders. Makes him look a lot less robust than the fuller looking revo.
>>
>>5280267
I think he might have mentioned some of that before since the Figuarts looks to have missing details.
>>
Again using this comparison image with the same differences.

you literally just drew different lines over the same render.

look.
>>
>>5280294
>render
Not sure if you're trolling or not but those are the figures and even the differences there are pretty obvious.
>>
>>5280294
Figuarts doesn't have those triangle lines though so I call BS. And the revoltech is smoother in the middle too.
>>
>>5280302
the render you idiot >>5280280
i painted over the FIGURES to show that you were full of shit just painting to your heart's content.
>>
>>5280305
neither of them have triangle lines you idiot
it's just retarded anon painting over it imagining one has a different structural shape than the other even though they're the same
>>
>>5280306
>i painted over the FIGURES
>you were full of shit just painting to your heart's content.
Strangely appropriate.

He showed the differences already, you ought to admit you were pretty wrong there.
>>
>ITT: Subjectanon rides again.

Marvel? Figuarts? MSpaint proportions collages? Come on people, this should be obvious by now.
>>
>>5280314

Nice.

You showed absolutely nothing other than that you can put red lines over a photo wherever you like rather than actually point to specific differences.
I can draw a square over a photo and a triangle over another, doesn't mean they're different.
You have to actually point out a difference, but the fact is there is none for the renders.

Are you blind, I didn't have to paint shit until you begged for it. The differences are still there and this is just weak ass trolling at this point.

The renders have the same pattern as the figures. Troll harder.

Good point. I'm going to bed before he comes up with Ultron's catchphrase.

>SHF Mario was frontbutt
>SHF Iron Man was pinhead
>Mafex ASM was Marfan
>SHF Cap was bishounen
>anyone he argues with was Mississippian
>anyone who disagrees with was fanboy
Did I miss any?

>>5280320
no shit the figures are different you idiot
the renders are the same
wow i'm ACTUALLY surprised you just failed this hard

good night
>>
>>5280323
except the renders are the exact same
as proven by your pure avoidance on trying to point out any difference because you know there are none
>>
>>5280328
The renders are not the same. You literally bitched about the same shit ad nauseum without backing up your own claims.

You're pathetic. Blind af and couldn't do geometry to save his life.

Have a good one.

6", using the Nick Fury/Punisher/Red Skull mold as a base.

all dem delusions just to pretend that Bandai is able to sculpt something accurately, even though the vast majority of their figures are stylized to the sculptor's own style.
