As someone that has the Ronin figure, I completely advise you against it. It's an awful figure. It looks nice, but besides standing and moving his arms, he can't do squat. Plus his neck is long and puts his head very far forward. From the side it looks really weird.

Yes. I wound up popping the torso off of my Ultimate Spider-Woman and dremeling around the ball joint in the lower torso to achieve only about 1 degree more movement out of the torso.
If they'd splurge and make the ball and socket just a little bigger, we'd get closer to the range as is on the curvy woman body.

Most of the critically acclaimed Vertigo stuff is from the 90s too though. It's mostly a-list heroes there were shit in the 90s, the EXXXXTREME aesthetic hardly touched many less popular ones, and even that was more of a Marvel than DC problem - hell, in case of Marvel it was mostly X-Men to begin with. I need help guys... As a fucking brazilian I started collecting with MUs... then I slowly started collecting Legends and bought the whole GOTG wave... and then started mixing MCU and Comic figures.
Recently I bought the Megaman X kickstarter and he's a premium figure, my coworker collects Saint Seiya Cloth Myth... and slowly my tastes changed and I started to like "premium" figures more.
Here is what I need help... does the SHF Avengers scale well with modern legends?
Can I get a size comparison of figures like SHF with ML Star Lord/Iron Fist/Amazing Spider Man/MS Hulk etc?

Going to sculptors that aren't Gentle Giant.

I look at my MS collection, and it's almost entirely comprised of their works with a small sprinkling of Jean St Jean when he decides to go above and beyond. But unfortunately, they have GG on MCU figures and only a few rare comic gems per year from them, and then they pass the majority of the comic work out to scrubs that make simply terrible figures.

To me, volume isn't even an issue. Fuck it, keep doing only 9 yearly comic releases and the normal crop of MCU/DSExc figures. That's fine. What do I want more, some chintzy ML Misty Knight figure or mother fucking classic Beast done in the same grade of quality as MS Marvel NOW Thor? I would rather give up a huge catalog of C-grade nobodies if it meant that I had an entire collection of top tier characters done in a quality that is on par with MS Juggernaut. But as it stands, the odds are extremely against us that GG will be doing any given character, because DST has a whole roster of scrubs to shop out to. That's what kills the line for me.

If you have something like.. Scarlet Witch, and want to replace the feet with Captain Marvel's, just heat the lower legs and feet of both figures, pop them off, and pop the other feet on. Only thing you have to worry about is color on any of the figures with "rocker" ankles.

MS Red Hulk is gimped in the articulation department. And big. A lot bigger than SHF Hulk. But then again at this point Hulk as a character has had such an incredibly varying degree of heights over the decades that as long as he's bigger than your go-to Thor he can be "in scale".

The MS Hulkbuster might look nice with the SHF Hulk, if you want to keep it in the lower price range.

I imagine Marvel knows what it's doing. Almost all of the secondary characters we've been getting comic ML for have been showing up as secondary MCU characters.

I think her existence in JJ, instead of Ms Marvel is a nod to The Defenders comic/NetFlix Defenders.
