Does anyone have any Naval Battle rules for D&D 3.5e? I'm trying to host a Pirate campaign.
Naval battles suck without Triremes or Gunpowder.

Use the rules for aquatic combat /3d combat in the book of planes. Beyond that, I think there were rules about combat on shipdecks and some ship stats but I fail to remember where I read those. Maybe in a dragon mag?
Stormwrack probably has a shitload of stuff in there for you.

I cribbed some of the vehicle rules for PF, and then had two separate maps for the fight- one of the ship the party was on, and one of the ocean. The Pilot would decide where the ship's going/turning at the end of every round, and then the rest of the party would be casting long-range spells or using ballistae. Eventually they invested some XP on a team of Permenancied Unseen Servants to reload them, which was a lot of fun.
