Whatever entity is running the Forge of Souls is the Warp's tech god. Besides there's a small blurb about Abaddon's sorcereres looking into Mars and finding nothing but a void, presumably because the shard of the Void Dragon has already claimed the souls of Mars and will devour them when he's unleashed or his presence deters any warp influence.
