Chaos Gods: Who is really a Chaos God

"Chaos Gods" are powerful warp entities created from the emotions of specific groups in the materium. They are malevolent and twisted pervisions of their representation and seek to spread disorder and entropy.

Unless you meet this definition you're not a Chaos God. Gork/Mork & the Great Maw probably fit the 40k definition, but in WHFB chaos is much more of its own thing and not just a general force within the warp.

In WHF (Age of Sigmar can suck a long one) the Chaos "Gods" are just extremely powerful Warp entities that dogpile the world when the Old Ones fuck off. They're the evil side of Chaos, and in the oldoldold version of lore good sides of Chaos came with them, mainly the Lawgods. Divinity is something imparted and it's never explained that well.

In 40k the Chaos Gods were ideas that were basically in infancy/hibernation until events brought them to life. For Khorne, Papa, and Tzeentch it was events on Earth, and for Slaanesh it was Eldar corruption. They've got godlike power but are really just conceptualized emotions brought to life by the acts of mortals.

The Emperor is pretty much the emotion of faith, order, warth, protector of humanity. can kill and harm other Chaos being out right with his power over the warp unlike other non Chaos gods

Slaanesh is more or less an amalgamation of Eldar Gods. He got his power by eating the other Eldar Gods when they were weak because of most of their worshipers dying when Slaanesh was born.

also what game do all the Gods play for game knight in the webway. I was think something like advanced risk, that everyone is pretty much at a stalemate.

Wrong. You are a moron. There is no good side to Chaos. There are only the Chaos Gods. They are neither evil or good. They just are. What you perceive as goodness in the Realm of Chaos is just some shard of them that you with your puny mortal mind attributed goodness to.

The Chaos Gods are one and the same in both settings too.
