Our current adversary actually. He has so many fucking clones on standby we started actively researching a way to murder anything of his flesh using his asshole descendant as a baseline. Hopefully we don't nuke too large a family tree when we do it.

He fell into a pool of weird-ass green water. We tried to go in after him but it was apparently some funky magic shit that would have given us supercancer.

It didn't give the villain supercancer. He got superpowers instead. He came back in a bunch of sidestories and started slaughtering NPCs and generally being a massive fucking asshole while we were on the other side of the world dealing with a completely separate shitshow.

Then he became the reincarnation of a sealed primal nature god and shit went even more sideways.
