Is there a negative effect to them? Do the negative feelings come back after a time or are they gone for good? Do they just eat the sensation, or do they eat the memories of where the feelings originate?

For example, if I am mourning the loss of my mother, would these things just make me apathetic, or would they make me forget my mother entirely. Otherwise these sound like something nice to bring with you.

If it looks like a cute animal or something, sure. If it looks like a living nightmare and drools acid probably not

It would be used as a drug.

Doctors would give them to the clinically depressed to level their psyches. Others experiencing normal levels of sorrow/doubt might become addicted to the happiness and confidence the creatures provide. Wizards/Priests/Corporations would experiment to develop mutant creatures that could feed on fear or anger or self-determination.

Depending on how intelligent the creatures are, they might be farmed in massive numbers or bred specially, or have rights as intelligent companions or pets. The creatures might even have engineered the current situation themselves, forcing their way into a symbiotic or parasitic relationship with their hosts.

They'd probably be symbols of status while poorly understood and showed off among nobles earlier in history, then moved to a major business as civilization figures out the rules to them.

You could go a lot of ways with these things- you might get Tamagotchis, you might get nightmares. Have fun with this setting.

neutral haven is the leading deck right now off of highroll lion/eagle tempo. it's like RoB Daria traded draw and burn for even more tempo. after haven is neutral rune, which outlasts and out-trades neutral haven, and then neutral sword, which beats neutral rune on pressure but can't contest eagle/lion.

most mid shadow lists are too greedy now that they don't have eachtar to cover up for their weak early games. whether they'll adjust or just keep their durdly urd last word package has yet to be seen.

control blood and ramp dragon eat different neutral decks but aren't popular on ladder since they're expensive with specialised card pools, unlike the general neutrals/aggro decks. forest remains viable only if you're good at it. otherwise forest struggles to maintain a barely sub-50% winrate.
