So do any of you anons know what the scale of this game will be?

Would have been a greater success if they just used the TV characters imho. No one cares about the books.

God no
At least.. I wouldn't have backed it if it was

They would have had no special characters on the battlefield had they did that considering the show omits all noteworthy commanders like the other Tyrell brothers, the other lannister or northern. Not to mention the vale and stormlands only having the two baratheons

Oh god, no. In a few years nobody will care about the show, and people will stop pretending it's good.
Also, /tg/ will stop posting le fat man memes and pretending ASOAIF is bad.

No Stannis = no buy

The king that cared.
CMoN's kickstarter miniatures have consistently been crap, so I'm holding off until I see the finished product in the flesh.

Eh, it's not bad by any means. It's just not as revolutionary as some would have you believe. Contrarianism is to be expected when too many people ride it's dick too hard. Personally I think GRRM's prose is just ok, his worldbuilding moderately good, his themes sometimes muddled or hamfisted, but at least his characters seem to be consistent and believable, if not "realistic".
