Allright, I got Dark Imperium. Ive never played Deathguard and no one in my playgroup plays them. Give me tips on how to play them.

Start smoking?
The codex is released on the 16th. Until then we're not sure.

Eh. I might get done painting by then.

More of a cron player, but hey, got a shitton onf Chaos now and loving them.
Here's my experience with DG.
>Poxwalkers
Good, not great, hilarious when overseen by Typhus. They serve as excellent daisy-chaining meatshields for your dudes, however, they move 5'', so they are terrible to all but being used as a living wall for your guns.
>Plague Marines
Pretty good, however most of their weapons cannot currently be used. They are expensive, but IMO worth it, as they are difficult to hit and carry a surprising amount of plasma.
>Blight drone
A solid meh. Equipped with two flamers, this thing would do medicore damage if it would actually get that close once in a while. It degrades way too quickly, and that 12'' movement will turn to 8'' after a single round of shooting. Way overcosted for what it brings.
>Plaguecaster
Great sorc, has a nice selection of mortal wound spells, but is useless in a melee.
>Blightbringer
Haven't used him much. He denies psykers, but honestly, out of everyone in my shop, my DG has the most pskyers on the field
>Lord of Contagion
Tough, stronk, and brutal. Would be a fantastic HQ if not for a particular unit...
>Typhus
Currently there is no fucking reason to ever run the LoC because Typhus has a better weapon, better strength, more attacks, more buffs, and is a psyker, all for 40 points cheaper. Yeah, you read that right. I hope the codex fixes this drek.
