How would a hotline miami rpg work? What system would you use? How would you stylize it? Heavy on combat and preplanning with brutal results for failure or more indepth stories of intrique revolving around secret organizations and politics?I just finished hotline Miami 2 and the fans reminded me of a group or at least the potential for one

Probably mix the pre-planning tactics style with a respawn and try again formula to emulate the classic game play.

How would a respawn system work exactly?

You'd all die fifteen minutes in and have to roll new characters.
Then you'd do that about 800 times.

When the party inevitably wipes a few times, you restart the encounter and keep track of what they have done on previous runs so they can optimize the next run. Of course, there has to be limitations, like a lowered reward the more times you die, etc.
Just play Hell, Vice, Merciless
