Druids are people given the administrative rights to the Life Tree Nanos that permiate the entire planet.

When the Ark ship crashed the Life Tree AI (arcane intelligence) made it a point to try and make the planet as habitable as possible for the surviving humans and spread it's roots through the planet to every corner of the world subdividing i t's mind into these root bulbs for greater effiency.

However, over time the Root Bulbs began to diverge and form personalities of their own and the primary AI mind went into dormency without sufficent levels of energy to sustain it.

Fairies are bio-mechanical beings born from Root Bulbs and have various tasks from caretaking to defense taking the role of many insects having assimilated insect populations and converting them into fairies

Humans who are given admin rights take in the Life Tree Nanos into their bodies and are permanently altered which allows them to rapidly change their form and command certain functions of the Root Bulbs as the Root Bulb's AI deems nesscessary
