Mythics are generally the only thing that can survive reprinting unscathed. Everything else gets knocked down $5-$10 (or for legacy/vintage staples that are reprinted, they can lose $20-30 worth of value, I'm looking at you Sinkhole).

It's outright depressing that the spoilers started with the prime shit. It almost hints that the people doing the spoilers are doing Wizards work hyping the set by giving good initial impressions while downplaying the fact that you might pay $10 for a pack or whatever the fuck is going to get charged for a box and you might open a fucking Sphinx of Uthuun.

I've always reflected on these sets and wonder why people still get excited. Prices never drop for the long-term, the product is expensive to begin with, you only get 24 packs/box, there is actual shit inside, and it's all reprints.

Sorry, I understand why people get excited, but it only gives me the impression that there are many more fucking idiots playing this game than I would expect. Even many here, where I feel that the majority of us call Wizards' garbage for what it is at a better rate than anywhere else, get hyped, which doesn't reflect well on this place either.
